Here are some players who stood out for the Bears:
Henson’s fabulous prep career came to an end in this one. The Minnesota State pledge’s game is all about physicality. In addition, he’s a really good athlete. Linebacker or edge could be options in college. Van Meter loaded up the box to take him away, but he still managed 54 rushing yards on 15 carries. And at less than 100 percent health, he contributed 5 assisted tackles.
Highlights
Hughes is a solid all-around athlete with a strong understanding of the sport. He completed 22 of 42 passes for 208 yards and a touchdown against one interception on this day. He forced a fumble on defense.

Another member of a memorable Bears’ senior class, Boelk finished up his prep career with four catches for 65 yards in this semifinal. He added 25 yards on a pair of kick returns, and produced 4.5 tackles with a half stop for loss. He’s a really good football player who could help a small school with production.

Wright broke out this season, and his future is bright. He stands out on both sides of the line because of his tenacity, physicality and athleticism. He’s definitely a college football player. He recorded three solo tackles in this one, including one for loss.
