The list is continuing to grow every every day, as new prospects are added behind the scenes. In February/March, the new prospects that are being added will become visible to subscribing members on the Watch List with our second update. The list will be updated three times during the spring and summer camp season(s). The final list will be released in mid-August, as these athletes are set to begin their high school careers. Here is a look at the athletes from the state of New York, that were included on the initial 2027 Football Prospect Watch List.
A 6-foot-3 Wide Receiver/Athlete that is playing on the same Long Island Elite travel ball team that has produced a number of talented prospects, most recently being 2026 national recruit Preston Carey. During the regular season Prokop played up on the JV team for Centereach High School and is also a talented kicker.
Highlights
A huge target at the Tight End position, Geraci stands just a hair short of 6-foot-5 and in the neighborhood of the 200-pound range. As a prospect that is stretching taller each day, he’ll have the next four years to add significant weight on to the long frame. Geraci played this season for the Bergen County Stars out of New Jersey and will stay in the Garden State, as heads to Don Bosco Prep for high school.
Highlights
A 5-foot-7, 155-pound Running Back that is equal part bulldozer and stallion when running the ball. A very well put together kid who is proportionately solid in both the upper body and lower body. Playing this season for the Staten Island Lions and is a major reason the team has punched a ticket to the Pop Warner championship week in Florida, this upcoming December.
Another very gifted Running Back out of New York, Bala is chiseled for just being an eighth-grade prospect. He’s a workout animal and also stands out as an amateur boxer and Point Guard on the hardwood. Both those other sports translate to his quickness and agility. Ran a 4.9 in the forty at last year’s Prep Redzone Next Middle School camp and I have to imagine that’s down in the 4.7 range judging by recent film.
