Lincoln Jackson || QB || 5’11 || 160 || American Fork High School || 2024
Jackson lit up the Sentinel’s defense in last Friday’s showdown with four touchdowns in the first half. The junior single-caller distributed the ball effectively at each level of the field. He has a strong arm and can deliver accurate throws from inside the pocket or on the move. Jackson’s ball placement is elite, with only his intended target having a chance to get it. He did a great job getting all of his talented weapons involved, and if he can keep the momentum going, the Caveman could go all the way.
Nic Brown || RB || 5’10 || 170 || Olympus High School || 2024
The Titans faced the arduous task of beating Brighton, and thanks to a huge day for Brown, they were able to do it. The Junior back rushed it a whopping 43 times for 267 yards and three touchdowns in one of the best performances we’ve seen all season. His speed and acceleration are next level. Brown also has strong vision and the patience to follow his blockers. His precise cuts allow him to turn short runs into explosive runs. Brown doesn’t wear down no matter how many carries he gets, if that wasn’t evident based on the 43 carries, and could help the Titans keep their run going.
Matt McKea || QB || 6’1 || 175 || Alta High School || 2025
The Hawks upset over the Red Devils was incredible, and so was the play of McKea. The talented sophomore tossed three touchdowns in the first half to help Alta build what would be an insurmountable lead. McKea can get it done with his arm or legs. When he decides to tuck it and run, he does a good job avoiding tacklers with his quick feet. His deep ball accuracy is impressive, and McKea can also pick a defense apart over the middle. The Hawks quarterback has played like a four-year starter in his limited playoff action.
Easton Baggett || ATH || 5’9 || 150 || Davis High School || 2024
Baggett did it all in the Darts win over Riverton. He hauled in four catches for 161 yards and a touchdown, but that’s not all. Bagtte also completed two passes, one of which was also a touchdown. Baggett is a skilled route runner who shines at creating separation. He has excellent hands and tracks the ball well. In addition, Baggett has impressive speed that enables him to take the top off the defense and create explosive plays.
