Straight forward and coming at you - here are five players you need to know today because they are just LIKE that between the lines!

ATH Gabe Crowder - Forest Hills

Crowder can play multiple positions - Quarterback, Running Back, Wide Receiver, Defensive Back - position flexibility is very attractive to college coaches on the next level!

Crowder shows some good arm strength as a QB, he would definitely be in the dual-threat category with his athleticism. He has good vision as a running back and runs with some power behind his pads.

As a wide receiver, Crowder shows some soft hands and an ability to make plays after the catch with the ball in his hands.

As a defensive back - primarily safety - Crowder shows a relentless passion to make tackles in the open field, and fills the alley well in the run game. Fun player to evaluate!

RB Vincent Griffin - Hickory Ridge

Griffin has some excellent vision on Inside Zone and Counter runs - he has been coached well on aiming points and reading blocks in this scheme.

He has a very strong burst through the 1st level of the defense which allows him to punish solo tacklers on the 2nd and 3rd level with great strength.

Griffin has good speed in the open field, where he rarely gets caught from behind. He also shows some good hands out of the backfield in the passing game!

DB [player_tooltip player_id='119797' first='Gabe' last='White'] - Goose Creek (SC)

Excellent size and speed combination - 6'3 with long arms and a very good press technique at the line of scrimmage.

Long arms allow for a lot of pass breakups in man coverage on a variety of routes.

Shows some great recovery speed coming out of breaks - first highlight is a Pick 6 displaying this ability!

OL/DL Micah Daniels - Shelby

Excellent size at 6'4 and 340 pounds - there will be some college interest simply because of that factor alone.

As an offensive lineman, he is a powerful run blocker - he moves his feet very well in both zone and gap schemes and absolutely pancakes 2nd and 3rd level defenders in space.

As a defensive lineman, he is a strong nose tackle at the point of attack - he does not get moved in solo blocks, and defeats some double teams in the run game as well.

ATH Jailen Hicks - Dudley

At 6'4 and 195 pounds, Jailen played running back, but he could definitely play any number of positions at the next level with that excellent physical frame.

As a running back, he is just a highlight waiting to happen. He explodes through open holes and doesn't get caught from behind in the open field. Ever. It is very impressive!

He shows some good ability to catch out of the backfield on swing routes and screen passes - that could possibly project to Wide Receiver on the next level also.
