<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p> <strong>Please note there were numerous individuals added to the rankings board, which can affect other athletes and their ranking. This is NOT an indication that the athlete didn't perform well. Per usual athletes are ranked based on who projects highest at the collegiate level. Have a look.. </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p> <strong>Oregon 2024 Top 150</strong> <a href="https://prepredzone.com/oregon/rankings/2024-rankings/">https://prepredzone.com/oregon/rankings/2024-rankings/</a></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>1.[player_tooltip player_id='152356' first='Joey' last='Olsen'] 6-5 220 TE/WR Lakeridge <strong>(COMMITTED:USC) </strong>Currently listed as the #8 TE in America by 247. He will play split out for the Pacers and should be featured after catching 50 passes for 1,074 yards and 11 TDs the last two seasons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE: </strong>Over the last three years Olsen has caught 82 passes for 1,652 yards and 20 TDs, averaging 20.1 yards per catch. He earned 1st team all-league honors and committed to USC over the likes of Oregon, Utah, and Tennessee. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>2.[player_tooltip player_id='278369' first='Devin' last='Brooks'] 6-4 290 OL Clackamas <strong>(11 OFFERS: Miami, Oregon, Washington, Ariz St, Oregon St, Cal)</strong> Brooks earned 1st team all-conference honors as a sophomore. He was physically dominant as a youngster and can play multiple spots up front as the film speaks for itself. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE:</strong> The big man continues to look better and better. For the 2nd year in a row, he earned 1st team all Mt Hood honors in what was a disappointing season for the Cavs (5-6). </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>3.[player_tooltip player_id='152337' first='Wiley' last='Donnerberg'] 6-4 200 ATH West Linn- Maybe the most versatile kid in Oregon and a potential&nbsp;double digit D1 offer athlete. Wiley earned 2nd team all TRL honors at WR, catching 23 passes for 403 yards and 3 TDs. He was maybe even more impressive on D, making 20 total tackles, with 3 tackles for loss, and 7 pass deflections.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE:</strong> Look for Donnerberg to blow up this off season. He earned 1st team all TRL honors on both sides of the football, while catching 29 passes for 586 yards and 4 TDs during the regular season. He is an appealing recruit who can play multiple spots defensively with his size and overall athleticism. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>4. [player_tooltip player_id='152339' first='Jayden' last='Fortier'] 6-5 210 TE/WR Tualatin<strong> (OFFERS: Arizona St, Colorado St)</strong>  As long as Fortier can stay healthy, he will prove to be one of the top prospects in the NW. He's had an outstanding off season as I expect him to blow up this coming fall. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE:</strong> From a projection standpoint, Fortier could end up the best player on this list collegiately. His 30+ catches, 500 receiving yards, and 5 TDs were only a glimpse of his potential production.  </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>5.[player_tooltip player_id='152358' first='AJ' last='Pugliano'] 6-3 220 TE/DE North Medford <strong>(COMMITTED: Oregon)</strong> Pugliano is listed as a 4* TE by 247. He will get a chance to back up the hype against legit SWC competition, after earning 2nd team and honorable mention all-conference honors last season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE:</strong> Pugliano put it all together, earning 1st team all-conference honors on both sides of the ball, for a Black Tornado team who continued to get better each week, winning 6 of their last 8. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>6.[player_tooltip player_id='152335' first='Liam' last='Cassidy'] 6-7 310 DT Jesuit<strong> (OFFERS: UNLV)</strong> Cassidy could blow up here in the coming months, recently landing his first D1 offer. His god given size and strength put him in a special category, projecting as a 1st team all-state guy for the Crusaders. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE:</strong> As a sophomore Cassidy earned 1st team all-league honors on D. As a Junior he earned 2nd team honors on O, showing off his overall versatility and ability to play anywhere. He is a massive individual and has shown flashes similar to current UW, and former Jesuit great Jaxson Kirkland. One of Oregon's best linemen ever. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>7.[player_tooltip player_id='206872' first='Stephen' last='Del Giudice'] 6-5 265 T West Linn- One of the fastest rising prospects in Oregon in my opinion. Credit on the move from Grant, where he started as a freshman and earned 1st team all-league honors as a sophomore. He could very well be the X factor for a #1 ranked Lions team.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE: </strong>Del Giudice backed up the hype earning 1st team all TRL honors, while dominating opponents. As noted previously he has one of the fastest rising stocks of any player in Oregon. Expect him to land multiple division 1 offers over the off season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>8. [player_tooltip player_id='152355' first='AJ' last='Noland'] 6-2 180 DB/ATH Tualatin- Probably the top DB in Oregon for his class. Noland is a phenomenal overall athlete and could very well end up one of the most recruited kids in the region.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE: </strong>Probably the best overall player in Oregon, not just as a DB. Noland earned 1st team offense, defense, and special teams' honors, in the state's toughest conference. He then proceeded to go off in the playoffs, finishing with double digit TDs offensively. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>9.[player_tooltip player_id='278367' first='Brysen' last='Kachel'] 6-3 235 LB/TE West Albany- I think people are sleeping on Kachel. He was the only sophomore in Oregon to earn all-state honors on both sides of the football. He has great size and impresses after the catch, while projecting on D.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE:</strong> Kachel had another phenomenal season, being named the MWC Defensive Player of the year and a unanimous 1st team LB/TE. Look for multiple schools to finally catch on and be vying for his services. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>10. [player_tooltip player_id='152336' first='Gus' last='Donnerberg'] 6-4 200 TE/OLB West Linn- Both of the Donnerberg kids will hold a handful of division 1 offers, with brother Wiley ranking at the top of the charts. Gus is an appealing recruit as he can play on either side of the ball at the highest level.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE:</strong> Gus has had an outstanding year and is one of the top players in Oregon. He earned 2nd team all-league accolades on both sides of the ball, and came up clutch numerous times in big ball games. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>11.[player_tooltip player_id='278368' first='Charlie' last='Crowell'] 6-5 235 TE Summit- Another kid who has a stock which continues to rise. Crowell has one of the highest ceilings of any player in Oregon, impressing with overall athleticism (basketball). If he's a big time D1 guy he will have his way with 5A competition. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE: </strong>Current Oregon TE Cam McCormick played at Summit and Crowell has that type of potential. This off season will be telling as you can't go wrong with his size and athletic ability. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>12. [player_tooltip player_id='152360' first='Gabe' last='Staszak'] 6-5 225 DE South Medford- Staszak quietly had an outstanding sophomore campaign, making 41 total tackles, with 7 tackles for loss, and 4 sacks. His size and wingspan 6'10 speak for itself as you can expect him to be a SWC POY candidate. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE: </strong>Staszak broke out as a sophomore and followed that up nicely in 22', accounting for 45 tackles (17 solo), with 13 tackles for loss, and 5 sacks. He brings a lot to the table standing close to 6-6. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>13.[player_tooltip player_id='152354' first='Cru' last='Newman'] 6-0 175 QB Central Catholic- I can't say enough good things about Newman as he has proved himself as much as any player on this list. He was the Mt Hood POY as a sophomore, leading his team to the 6A state title. Size is the only question mark which he has countered nicely. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE:</strong> The 2x Mt Hood Conference POY possesses that "It" factor. He passed for 21 TDs/1 INT with double digit rushing touchdowns during the regular season. He is the exception to the rule from a size standpoint, and an unquestioned D1 QB at some level, in my opinion. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>14. [player_tooltip player_id='206871' first='Terrell' last='Kim'] 6-3 320 OL North Medford <strong>(OFFERS: San Jose St) </strong>Kim's recent San Jose St offer was well deserved. He can play multiple spots on the offensive front, earning 1st team all-league honors as a sophomore. He will draw plenty of interest from the Pac 12s and others. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE:</strong> Kim is a workhorse and a guy everyone wants leading their team. He earned 2nd team all-conference O line honors, which doesn't do him justice. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>15.[player_tooltip player_id='206847' first='Timothy' last='Mitchell Jr.'] </strong>5-10 170 ATH Central Catholic- Most are aware of Mitchell after two very impressive seasons, where he won a state title, and became the youngest player ever to be named the MVP of the Les Schwab Bowl. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE:</strong> One of the most versatile athletes in the entire NW. Mitchell battled injuries but locked up everyone from his CB spot, while scoring 6 TDs in 5 games, and looking like one of the top kick returners in the region. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>16.[player_tooltip player_id='511342' first='Will' last='Haverland'] 6-5 220 DE Sheldon</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE:</strong> It can be easy to get overshadowed, playing with Oregon commit [player_tooltip player_id='226949' first='Teitum' last='Tuioti'] and standout DL [player_tooltip player_id='270068' first='Josh' last='Merriman']. The 6-5 Haverland had an outstanding year, racking up 29 total tackles, with 12.5 tackles for loss, and a sack. His quickness off the edge and ability to fight off blocks was impressive. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>17.[player_tooltip player_id='152333' first='Lonnie' last='Burt'] Jr. 6-1 200 ATH Jesuit- An Oregon breakout player of the year candidate. He looked outstanding on D as a sophomore and has the potential of being one of the top backs in the state, teaming with 2023 standout [player_tooltip player_id='205822' first='Payton' last='Roth'].  </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE:</strong> Expect to hear the name often over the off season. Burt Jr. had a dominant 1st team All-Metro campaign on the defensive side of the ball and will be one of the best RBs in Oregon next year. He averaged 8 yards per carry with 7 TDs in limited time. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>18.[player_tooltip player_id='152344' first='Hunter' last='Haines'] 6-1 170 DB West Linn- Haines projects as a 1st team all-state kid on D this season. As most know he is the brother of former Oregon 6A PRZ POY Gavin Haines, now a RB at Oregon St. His upside is through the roof. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE: </strong>Hunter represented well and will have options collegiately. He earned unanimous 1st team All TRL accolades from his DB spot, possessing legit closing speed and other intangibles you can't teach. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>19.[player_tooltip player_id='152334' first='Jace' last='Burton'] 5-11 165 CB Jesuit- Everyone knows the name as Burton proved himself last season, racking up 1st team All-Metro honors on D. He excelled on offense as well where he looked like one of the top slots in the state, grabbing 2nd team accolades.  </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE:</strong> For the second straight season Burton played lights out, earning 1st team all-league honors on both sides of the football. Separate from his ability to lock you up on D, he was one of the top receivers in Oregon, catching 31 passes for 555 yards and 6 TDs on the season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>20.[player_tooltip player_id='442249' first='Hayden' last='George'] 6-4 230 TE/OLB Lebanon</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE: </strong>One of the fastest rising prospects in Oregon. George earned unanimous 1st team honors at TE and 2nd team LB accolades, going for 542 yards and 10 TDs on 32 touches (12 receptions, 20 rushes). </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>21.[player_tooltip player_id='279169' first='Dexter' last='Foster'] 6-4 200 OLB Roosvelt- Head coach Ryan McCants has been a blessing to the Roughriders program. Foster earned 1st team all-league honors as a sophomore, as he has a tremendous upside with great size. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE: </strong>Foster projects as the top recruit in the PIL, earning 1st team all-league honors for the second season in a row. He has great size and speed, finishing as one the state statistical leaders in tackles for loss. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>22.[player_tooltip player_id='152332' first='Ethan' last='Biondine'] 6-0 220 LB Lakeridge- Biondine put up one of the best stat lines in Oregon as a sophomore, playing out of position at DE. His 80 total tackles and 13.5 tackles for loss are just a glimpse of what he can do, as he could very well be one of the state's top RB's if given the opportunity. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE:</strong> Big advocate of this kid. Biondine made 147 tackles in 11 games, with 13 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks. His 2nd&nbsp;team all-league honors put into perspective how tough the TRL is.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>23.[player_tooltip player_id='511314' first='Brayden' last='Welch'] 6-5 250 DE Oregon City </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE:</strong> Just a good overall athlete with size. Welch was an honorable mention all-conference D end and looked the part catching the ball at TE.  He was definitely one of 6A's breakout performers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>24.[player_tooltip player_id='93057' first='Nikko' last='Klemm'] 5-11 175 CB Sheldon <strong>(OFFERS: Oregon, Hawaii, Florida A&amp;M)</strong> </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE:</strong> The offers speak for themselves. Klemm has 4 INTs on the season and the Irish look to have one of their best teams in school history. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>25.[player_tooltip player_id='488914' first='Andre' last='Miller'] 6-0 165 DB Gresham&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SEASON UPDATE: </strong>Miller had an outstanding season and looks like one of the fastest rising prospects in the state. He earned 1st team all-league DB and 2nd team WR honors. He tied for the state lead in INTs (5) during the regular season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
