Jakhari Williams Jakhari Williams 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB First Presbyterian Day School | 2024 State GA – QB – 2024 – First Presbyterian Day School
Williams is a prospect that I had highlighted before the season started, as he was coming off a breakout year of sorts. Through 2022, he has continued to show even more promise and has developed into one of the most highly touted QB prospects in Georgia. Williams is a true dual-threat signal caller and a great athlete, two things that have put him on recruiting boards across the country. Williams has tons of arm talent, showcasing the ability to fire the ball into tight windows and the ability to put some touch on the ball and layer it over defenders. If he steps into his throws, he can throw the ball 65-70 yards in the air with accuracy. He is also able to throw on the run exceptionally well without sacrificing arm strength. As a runner, he is very twitchy and can make defenders miss in space, and he doesn’t shy away from contact. In fact, he welcomes it. I originally compared Williams to Alabama QB Jalen Milroe, and now I am starting to see some Hendon Hooker in his game. Georgia Tech and Kansas are among his recent offers, with the Yellow Jackets being a team to watch as of now.
Tyson Greenwade – RB – 2023 – Dalton
When you think of Dalton RBs, you might think of Alabama standout Jahmyr Gibbs. While Greenwade hasn’t generated as much buzz on the recruiting trail as Gibbs, he is starting to make a name for himself. On the season, he eclipsed 2000 total yards and punched it in nearly 30 times. At around 6’0 200, he is a bigger back that doesn’t lack any explosiveness or speed. He has an uncanny ability to accelerate and explode through holes and get into the second level quickly. Once he is by the LBs, good luck catching him. He also has excellent vision and is able to weave his way in and out of running lanes and make defenders miss with his light feet and twitchiness. Greenwade is a special athlete, showcasing the ability to hurdle defenders and outrun practically anyone. Add in the fact that he is very productive as a receiver, and you have as complete of a back as you will find in Georgia. Greenwade has several small school offers, the most recent being Point. If I were any of those schools that have offered, I would be praying that no bigger schools get involved, because they have found a gem in Greenwade.
Caden Williams Caden Williams 5'11" | 200 lbs | ATH Calhoun | 2024 State GA – RB – 2024 – Calhoun
Williams is a record-breaking Calhoun RB that has helped lead the Jackets to some big-time success over the last few seasons. Williams has tons of tools and shows off some serious versatility on film, and he has really tied it all together this season. Williams is a bigger-bodied back that holds his own between the tackles, but it’s his electricity in space that makes him so special. Once he bounces to the outside and gets into open field, his combination of acceleration and the ability to stay upright makes him almost impossible to bring down. As a result, he is often used in the passing game to attack soft spots in the defense, and he does an excellent job executing. All in all, Williams is an every-down back that has emerged as one of the most valuable players in the entire state. He has a recent offer from East Carolina under his belt, and I don’t expect that to be the last.
Jordan Burns – OLB – 2024 – Pace Academy
Burns does most of his damage at the OLB spot, but he is a true position-less player that can make plays all over the field, on both sides of the ball. He shows promise as an RB, but I believe his future is as some kind of OLB/S hybrid. Burns is one of the fastest and most explosive players I have seen. He plays like a heat-seeking missile. Once he is locked onto a target, he gets there quickly and delivers quite a hit at impact. With his violence and knack for getting to the football in a hurry, his future is on the defensive side of the ball, but where? To me, his ability to run sideline to sideline and come crashing downfield with such violence and speed is something that I have not seen on high school film since Owen Pappoe came out of Grayson. Pappoe ultimately ended up at ILB, but I believe Burns will play wherever he has the biggest chance of making an impact on any given play, because he is a special playmaker that can change the outcome of a game. Burns has started to make quite a name for himself on the trail, adding recent offers from schools like Auburn, North Carolina, NC State, Arkansas, and Tennessee.
Ezra Odinjor Ezra Odinjor 6'3" | 220 lbs | DL Allatoona | 2023 State GA – EDGE – 2023 – Allatoona
About a month ago, I pinpointed Odinjor as someone who could see their stock rise on the trail. Since then, numerous P5 offers have rolled in, Auburn and Louisville the most recent. Kansas, Vanderbilt, and Arizona State are just a few others. On the season, Odinjor is one of the state leaders in sacks with nearly 12 on the year with another game left. At 6’4 220, he is extremely well built and is able to hold his own in the run game. He does a great job of setting the edge and redirecting runners back to the inside, where the rest of his teammates clean up. As a pass rusher, he has great bend around the edge and has extremely violent hands which he uses to free himself up. Once he hits the P5 level and continues to grow as a pass rusher, he could develop into an impact player. After all, he already has all the tools and is a great athlete.
