We have already named our superlatives, now it’s time to take a look at the rest of the field and pinpoint some young prospects you need to track.
Ty Truelove – QB – Rabun County
Rabun County has had some good luck with QBs in recent memory. First, it was Gunner Stockton, the record-breaking UGA QB signee. This time around, it’s Keegan Stover Keegan Stover 6'3" | 215 lbs | QB Rabun County | 2023 State GA , who was one of the most productive QBs in the state this past season. Up next, it looks like it will be Ty Truelove. Truelove has yet to start a game at the varsity level, but he is already considered a D1 prospect with some FBS offers. We can confirm there is legit interest from P5 schools. A lot of this is due to the QB pipeline Rabun County has going for them, but most of it is due to Truelove’s playmaking ability and potential. On tape, I think Truelove is a very fundamentally sound player that has yet to put his best football on display. He shows great footwork in the pocket and does a great job of setting his feet before he throws. He also has a quick, clean release which allows him to get the ball into tight windows. As he continues to grow and add more arm strength and overall athleticism, he should become a household name pretty quickly.
Amari Latimer – RB – Sandy Creek
Latimer is a true hidden gem prospect that I believe is going to creep onto the recruiting scene very shortly. He already has good size at around 5’10 175, but I think he will end up even bigger, and probably by time next season rolls around. In the regular season, Latimer emerged as his team’s leading rusher, finishing with just over 600 yards and 7 TDs on 6 YPC. He also made some plays on defense and special teams. Latimer showcases some excellent vision and elusiveness on tape, consistently hitting holes created upfront. When the holes aren’t there, he bounces to the outside, then turns upfield. He isn’t a super flashy player in space, he has a nice stiff arm and is twitchy, but there isn’t anything super fancy to his game. Instead, he is a consistent and disciplined runner that takes what the defense gives him, making him a valuable player. He is under the radar as of now, but as he continues to get bigger, I could certainly see him growing into an intriguing prospect on the recruiting trail.
Nalin Scott Nalin Scott 6'2" | 180 lbs | ATH Kennesaw Mountain | 2026 State GA – WR – Kennesaw Mountain
As the year went on, Scott started to creep onto the radar as one of the premier 2026 receivers in Georgia. He didn’t have a huge year on the stat-sheet, but he showed enough on film to suggest he could be the focal point of the Kennesaw Mountain offense for years to come. First off, Scott has really good size at around 6’2 185, and he uses it to physically outmatch whoever lines up across from him. In fact, he is frequently targeted on the goal line, where he matches the DB’s physicality with even more physicality, and it usually works. He also showcases some soft yet strong hands, which allow him to reel in the football while in traffic. Scott is extremely versatile, he spends a lot of his time on the outside, but he can also play in the slot and even lines up in the backfield at times. It’s clear that Scott is a dangerous playmaker with the ball in his hands, so he will move around a lot as KMHS searches for mismatches.
Mason Townsend Mason Townsend 6'3" | 270 lbs | OL Prince Avenue Christian | 2026 State GA – OL – Prince Avenue Christian
Townsend is one of the best 2026 offensive linemen in Georgia, and I would be confident putting him up against anyone. I watched him dominate the camp circuit this offseason, and I see nothing on film to suggest that was a fluke. In fact, I predict Townsend will grow into a household name in the 2026 class. At 6’2 240, he has good size but has so much room to grow and add more mass, which means he has a very high ceiling. Townsend is a very methodical blocker, always keeping his eyes downfield and looking for someone to get his hands on. He almost always blocks off a firm base and has a very strong upper body with strong arms, often toying around with defenders by tossing them around. Townsend has shown a lot of promise this year, and I think he is absolutely someone to keep track of as he continues to grow and mature at the varsity level.
Solomon Fabian Solomon Fabian 6'1" | 215 lbs | DL State GA – DL – Creekside
Underrated playmaker on the Creekside defensive front that was a good role player this season. Next year, he could be due for a breakout season. Fabian came away from his first regular season with a couple of solo tackles and QB hurries, with some sacks. At around 6’2 235, his size alone makes him an intriguing prospect that you should keep track of. Playing mostly at DE, he has an extremely explosive first step that almost immediately creates penetration. He also has great pursuit skills, using his explosion and speed to chase ball carriers down and flush the QB out of the pocket. At the point of attack, he does a great job of gaining leverage with his arms and shows the ability to rip through blocks. Fabian is a great athlete for his size and is just a freshman, I expect him to be a staple on the Creekside defense for years to come.
Kadin Fossung Kadin Fossung 6'3" | 200 lbs | LB Gainesville | 2026 State GA – EDGE – Gainesville
Like Fabian, Fossung is a prospect that got some varsity reps this year, and he showed some qualities on film that you should be excited about. On the year, he posted a couple of tackles, TFLs, and a sack. He also forced a fumble. At around 6’3 200, Fossung has a very wiry frame and has a lot of weight to add. Even though he is smaller in mass, he holds his own as a pass rusher and checks a lot of boxes. For starters, he uses his strong and long arms to gain leverage on blockers and create space. He also has active hands, which he frequently uses to get off blocks. He has a very direct pass rushing approach with a bull rush, where he shows some surprising strength and push for a player that has a skinner build. In space, he holds his own pretty well. He has sideline to sideline speed and is a very fundamentally sound tackler. Fossung is a true high ceiling player, once he adds more mass and hones in on his pass rush, he is certainly a prospect that will generate a lot of buzz. Already holds offers.
