Continue ReadingWilliams is making a huge impact this season, emerging as one of the 2024 Interception leaders in the state. He has good ball skills able to make 1 hand catches and excels in covering deep ball go routes and 5 yard outs. After having a great 2022 season next year he will be a problem to be reckoned with.
Jefferson is a player discovered and added to the watch list after an impressive showcase at the IAA Showcase late in the summer. Jefferson showed tremendous ball skills during the showcase and its translating to his season very well. He has a handful of interceptions and is very dangerous with the ball in his hands. He reminds me of a Budah Baker type of player, he fly’s around, breaks on the ball quick, can blitz off the edge, and cause turnovers even in the backfield. Cam had an impact on the Millers successful season in 2021 as a sophomore and is just settling into his role. Jefferson is a prospect that I’m excited to see bloom and receive the college attention he deserves, he’s a heck of an all-around football player.

Roy has a lot of skills and qualities you look for in a really good LB prospect, he has size at 6’3 220lbs, he’s athletic and fast, he even plays offense. Chasing QB’s down outside the pocket and taking down ball carries from backside chase is no problem for Roy. He shows awareness in his play, causing fumbles and taking good angles to put him in the best position to catch faster players. So far Roy has 2 offers from Akron and Toldeo, after his junior year film is finished expect him to pile on a few more as he increases his recruiting stock even more.
Hess has been showing exactly what we saw at The TCA Gauntlet: Trench Combat Academy Showcase. He bull rushes right through offensive lines and once he gets his hand on the ball carrier they’re going down. His pure strength even shows on the offensive side of the ball where he’s racked up a few pancake blocks through the regular season. Hess is already seen as one of the best linemen prospects in the league and region, but his breakout is yet to come. Keep an eye on his growth over the next few months, he’s already 6’2 290+lbs, a couple of inches and he’ll be a definite D1 prospect, the talent and strength are there. Hess continues to lead Fort Hill down a back-to-back state championship road.

Gantt went from WCAC power DeMatha JV to Wise varsity. He has fluid hips and sticks his nose in for tackles, a DB in run support can be very valuable. This season he has played in the slot majority of his defensive snaps but look for him to transition to a #1 role as the seniors make their way out.
