The Senior QB played well on Friday night as he completed 16 of 22 passes for 122 yds and a TD while rushing for 41 yds on 10 carries (4.1 ypc) as he led Oak Hills to a 13-10 victory over Lakota East to improve to 4-5 on the season. He does a good job of reading the defense and steps into his throw releasing the ball with good accuracy and arms strength on short, intermediate and deep passes. He shows great mobility as he avoids the rush and delivers an accurate ball while on the move. He exhibits good play speed as he is able to pick up a 1st down on his own while running the ball.

The Senior LB played very well on Friday night as he made a key interception and helped Mason defeat Fairfield 30-7 and improve to 7-2 on the season. He plays as an OLB. Against the run, he quickly reads run/pass, shows good closing speed in pursuit while playing with good leverage before delivering a big hit preventing a gain of significant yardage. Against the pass, he locates the ball in the air and shows good hands as he comes down with the interception.

Justin Re
Justin had a big game on Friday night as he caught 2 touchdown passes and helped Elder defeat Bishop Chatard from Indianapolis 21-16 to improve to 7-2 on the season. He plays as a slot WR and on the outside. He is a great route runner who shows good play speed as he gets behind the DB. He tracks the ball well in the air before making a nice catch. He shows good athleticism as he outruns defenders on a long touchdown reception.

Josiah had a huge game on Friday night as he rushed for 250 yds on 32 carries (7.8 ypc) as he helped Chaminade Julienne defeat Archbishop McNicholas 36-29 and improve to 5-4 on the season. He shows good vision as he finds the open hole with good burst as he gets through the hole quickly. He plays with very good contact balance as he breaks tackles from LB and DB with ease. He plays with good competitive toughness as he is reliable in the red zone with the ball in his hands as he scores a TD.

Carson Cheek
Carson played a big role in Badin’s 14-6 defeat of Bishop Fenwick on Friday night. He returned a fumble 42 yards for a TD that sealed the win and enabled Badin to remain undefeated at 9-0. He plays as a FS. Against the pass, he quickly keys and diagnoses the play, shows good closing speed in pursuit and delivers a big hit to the receiver preventing a gain of significant yardage. Against the run, he squares his shoulders and delivers a nice form tackle preventing a potential touchdown.
