After South Florence dropped 63 points in 29 minutes of action against Wilson and Hartsville pumped out 82 points against Myrtle Beach, you had to know.
The Week 7 Game Balls for the Grand Strand and Pee Dee are about to be dominated by the Bruins and Red Foxes. The production in those two games alone was enough to eliminate the rest of the competition.

J’Shawn Anderson J’Shawn Anderson 6'0" | 185 lbs | RB Hartsville | 2023 State SC RB Hartsville
On any other night, Anderson is gonna be the headliner. The Hartsville senior and Georgia Southern verbal commit busted up Myrtle Beach for 283 yards and four touchdowns on 23 carries. That’s a 12.3 yards-per-carry clip. And while he’s had a great year (743 yards, 12 touchdowns), what he did against the Seahawks was a special performance. Even if it wasn’t the best one from his team in the game.

The Wing-T offense Jeff Calabrese has been running in Kelleytown for nearly 20 years had one of those games. If Anderson alone didn’t prove it, McDaniel did. The junior with Power 5 offers ended his night with 19 carries for a school-record 334 yards and a school-record six touchdowns. You average 17.6 yards per carry against a school with four state championships in the last 15 years, you’ve get some love.
Evin Singletary Evin Singletary 5'9" | 160 lbs | WR South Florence | 2023 State SC WR, South Florence
Singletary is a good receiver, and he’s likely going to be playing the position in college. But Friday was the eye-popping game that his coaches have been waiting for the last two seasons. Against Wilson, Singletary caught five passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns. One of those receptions went for 70 yards, showing that he’s indeed the home run threat coach Drew Marlowe might need him to be during what is expected to be a fast-paced Class 4A Lower State playoffs.
LaNorris Sellers LaNorris Sellers 6'3" | 215 lbs | QB South Florence | 2023 State SC QB, South Florence
Want to see the height of ridiculousness? Take the two quarters of football Sellers (pictured) played on Friday against Wilson. The current Syracuse commit completed 15-of-19 passes for 426 yards and eight touchdowns. Not enough? He also ran three times for 26 yards and another touchdowns. That’s the second-best single-game touchdown mark in state history, and he did it all under the watchful of eye of Syracuse coach Dino Babers.
