Week 6: Top DB Performances

He's been hitting his stride, playing some of his best football so far this year. He reads the quarterback well, being able to anticipate some passes before they come his way. The whole Eastside Catholic defense has been playing very well all season long. Ross contributed 3 tackles and 1 pass deflection on the night. He continued to read the field well and get to the ball carrier quickly. His tackling still stands out to me on the field as his technique is very solid. He's a stellar defensive back, having some fantastic patience. He reads the play well, being able to cut off the pass easily with his speed. Spannaway Lake has been playing extremely solid throughout the year as a defensive back. He stays with the receiver well, being able to stop on a dime if the player he is guarding does as well.
