Who are some of the state’s leading passers in the 2025 class?

A big quarterback with plenty of arm talent, the Middle Georgia gunslinger already has a slew of D1 offers on hand and more will come sooner than later. The 6-foot-4 195-pounder has shown a big arm all season and leads all 2025 quarterbacks in passing. A big-armed quarterback who loves to throw it deep, Hill Jr. has been extremely accurate this year for someone his age, going 140/189 so far with a 74% completion rate. He’s also thrown for 1,969 yards, leading everyone in his class. He’s averaging an impressive 281 yards per game, showing college coaches across the country that he can win games with his arm. He does a great job of taking care of the football, throwing 19 touchdowns to just two INTs so far through his first seven games. He’s a big-time quarterback to know and he’s only going to get better over the next two years.
Christian Langford – East Coweta
One of the more athletic and dynamic quarterbacks not only in the 2025 class, but in all of West Georgia, Langfords is leading a strong East Coweta team and has looked like a future D1 quarterback so far as a sophomore. The dual-threat quarterback has good size at 6-foot-2 190-pounds with a big, promising arm. He’s still learning to play quarterback and will throw some INTs, but the talent is easy to see. He’s thrown for 1,659 yards so far this year, making him one of the more productive quarterbacks in the 2025 class across the state. He’s also thrown for 20 touchdowns so far. His biggest game of the season came against Hillgrove. Not only did he lead East Coweta to a big 55-21 win, but he also threw for 357 yards and 6 touchdowns in the victory. He’s a promising sophomore to know about for the next few seasons.
Gavin Owens Gavin Owens 6'4" | 210 lbs | QB Rabun Gap | 2025 State GA – Rabun Gap
A big, physical quarterback in North Georgia at 6-foot-4 210-pounds, Owens has been extremely consistent so far this year, averaging 207 passing yards a game through his first seven games. He stands in the pocket well, keeps his eyes down the field, and throws a tight, catchable ball. He does a great job of reading the defense and taking care of the ball, throwing 11 touchdown passes so far this year with just one interception. His excellent play is a big reason why Rabun-Gap is off to a strong 5-2 start to the season. In total, Owens has thrown for 1,450 yards and 11 touchdowns. He’s a North Georgia quarterback to keep an eye on in the 2025 class.
Luke Nickel Luke Nickel 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Milton | 2025 State GA – Milton
The Milton Eagles are once again loaded with talent and it looks like they have their quarterback for the next few years in sophomore, Luke Nickel Luke Nickel 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Milton | 2025 State GA . A mobile quarterback with a strong arm, Nickel is getting better and better the more he plays, and that’s something the Milton staff has to love. He’s got plenty of size for his age at 6-foot-2 200-pounds and improving more and more as a pure passer. The Milton quarterback is 106/174 so far this season for 1,221 yards and nine touchdown passes with just two INTs. He’s played against some tough defenses and in the highest classification in Georgia. He’s still a work in progress, but the talent and potential is easy to see. If he keeps improving, he’s going to lead the Eagles a long way for the rest of his career.
