On Thursday night September 29th, 2022 The North Shore Mustangs were against The C.E King Panthers. During the 1st half, both teams weren't able to overcome each other. Unfortunately, North Shore Mustangs quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='277754' first='Kaleb' last='Bailey'] injured his leg and was out for the rest of the game. However, senior reserve quarterback David Amador came onto the field and performed adequately. As soon as David got on the field North Shore kept on racking up the points and had the momentum for the rest of the game. North Shore remains undefeated with a final score of 38-3. In this article, I'll be discussing the North Shore Mustangs' offensive standouts.

#9 [player_tooltip player_id='277754' first='Kaleb' last='Bailey'] QB So 6'1 195 lbs

[player_tooltip player_id='277754' first='Kaleb' last='Bailey'] has always been a phenomenal quarterback especially when he started last year as a freshman. Kaleb wasn't afraid to scramble and run with the ball. Kaleb has great quick decision-making and a great arm at that. Kaleb had an excellent performance until he, unfortunately, got hurt. Before the end of the 1st quarter, Kaleb took a heavy hit and got a leg injury that took him out for the rest of the game. I'm hoping that Kaleb has a speedy recovery so that he could keep leading the unstoppable North Shore.

#34 [player_tooltip player_id='131823' first='Rashaad' last='Johnson'] RB Sr 5'9 215 lbs

One player that always stood out to me from The North Shore Mustangs was running back [player_tooltip player_id='131823' first='Rashaad' last='Johnson']. Rashaad is extremely fast and has a lot of speed and power making it very difficult to tackle him or catch up to him. Rashaad was always breaking C.E Kings tackles and leaving them in his dust. Once their starting quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='277754' first='Kaleb' last='Bailey'] went down Rashaad had to step up and make sure North Shore's offense did not falter. Once the reserve quarterback came in Rashaad went into 2nd gear and turned into a freight train. Whenever Rashaad ran the ball he would get a ton of yards always getting a 1st down. I'm excited to see what College or University Rashaad decides to continue his football career at because that young man is the truth. Rashaad wrapped up the game with a ton of yards and one touchdown.

#8 David Amador QB, WR Sr 6'0 180 lbs

David Amador came into the game when he was needed and did what was necessary for North Shore to stay #1. David is the reserve quarterback for [player_tooltip player_id='277754' first='Kaleb' last='Bailey'] and after Kaleb went down David played for the rest of the game. The North Shore Mustangs has a strict quarterback system where the quarterback runs the ball heavily and consistently. David executed this brilliantly and was passing the ball with amazing precision. David showed just because he is the reserve doesn't mean he is less qualified than Kaleb. David was just as fast and throw the ball as good as Kaleb could. David was the MVP of the game giving North Shore the support they needed. David wrapped up the game by rushing in 2 touchdowns himself and throwing two touchdown passes.

#2 Christopher Barnes WR Jr 5'8 155 lbs

Christopher Barnes was killing it all night against The C.E Kings Panthers. Chris as a wide receiver is extremely speedy and athletic. When Chris caught a pass not only could anyone keep up with him Chris was also all over the place quickly shuffling from side to side being difficult to tackle. Also, despite his small stature Chris was a competent blocker taking C.E Kings defensive players out of the play and eliminating any of them from making the tackle. Chris currently has two college offers from Texas A&M Commerce and Prairie View A&M University. Chris wrapped up the game by scoring two touchdowns.
