Miller is an explosive player who is able to dominate his competition. He’s explosive off the ball and has an elite first step. He’s able to bull rush, come off the edge, and lineup in the middle of the line. He’s able to impact the run, regularly, and forces the opposing offense to switch things up. He’ll live in the backfield and blow up the game plan if he’s not double teamed. He’s worked and played against enough of them he’s beginning to beat them from time to time and still make the play. He’s got a high motor and is relentless in his pursuit. He plays angry and has an edge to his game that his teammates love. Miller is someone we think highly of and yet he’s come out this fall and taken another step forward. One of the states best DL recruits is still getting better and improving on all parts of his game. His frame is decent and he has elite reach. As he hits the weight room and develops at the next level he could easily take off. Miller is an impact player at the next level and will improve the interior of the defense he’s on. He’s good in the run, good in the passing game and can tip balls, and has an elite frame with explosive athleticism. He’s the total package and more schools should be lining up to land Miller.
Collin Jones Collin Jones 5'10" | 200 lbs | LB Heritage Christian | 2024 State IN – Heritage Christian – OLB/DE – 5’9″ 190lbs – 2024
Jones is a versatile recruit who is able to play on and off the ball for Heritage Christian. He’s able to come off the edge and get around the edge. He’s nimble and is able to get below the Tackle and make a play as fast as anyone could. He’s also able to drop back into coverage and play the pass. He’s got decent speed and can cover most guys in the zones given to him. He’s got good eyes and knows when to break on the ball and when to be patient. Jones can make plays in the open field and save the play. He typically won’t over pursue and seems to live behind the LOS. He’s a tackling machine, especially in the backfield, and affects the game early and often for the opposing offense. He’s not the biggest recruit but he makes up for it with football IQ and grit. More importantly, he’s still got another year of development and could easily shoot up. Either way, Jones is a sound recruit who is going to keep developing and help some program at the next level when his time comes.
Donovan Wright Donovan Wright 5'6" | 155 lbs | ATH Terre Haute North | 2023 IN – Terre Haute North Vigo – CB/KR – 5’5″ 145lbs – 2023
Wright is a fantastic athlete who is able to be used on both Special Teams and Defense. He’s got elite speed and gets to top speed as quick as anyone. He’s incredibly shifty and has good balance which allows him to make some pretty impressive plays when taking a hit on a KR. He’s got good vision and can hit the smallest of holes and shoot out the backside. Defensively, he’s able to run with anyone. There’s been a few times he’s been playing Corner and the ball is thrown beyond him and the receiver and Wright is the one who is able to run up underneath it and make the pick. Wright is someone I could be moved to the offense and become an elite Slot WR/Gadget guy who gives defenses the biggest fits. It’s hard to catch and tackle who has elite speed, agility, and isn’t quite as tall as others. I’m not saying he is, but think of Tyreek Hill and how hard he is to tackle. Wright is someone who could feast in the screen game as well. Wright is an incoming KR who can change the game for his team. He then has the raw ability to develop on offense or defense. There’s a lot of good things with Wright and what he can do on the field for a team. The best part is he’s hungry and mold-able so wherever he ends up it could very well be a steal for them.
Carter Hall – Dugger Union – QB/LB – 5’10” 170lbs – 2023
Hall is a gem hidden in a small school on an even smaller team but that shouldn’t discredit what he can do on the field. With a team of 14 players you’re going to be asked to do alot. Hall does more than his fair share and is able to be the steady force they need. At QB, he’s able to extend plays and take off and run when things break down. He’s much faster than defenses think and it’s obvious on film. He stands out with how much faster he moves than everyone else. He’s got a decent arm and can make most throws they ask him to. He’s got decent footwork when he stays in the pocket and he knows where to go with the ball. He’s got a pretty throwing motion as well and the ball comes out effortlessly. The big knock on Hall is going to be the competition and guys he went against but I think schools should look past that. You have a mobile QB with a good arm, who can improvise, a decent arm, and untapped potential. He’s just got the ability to find a way to convert the chains and give his team a fresh set of downs like only the best of the best have. Hall goes to an incredibly small school but his talent and upside is potentially higher than maybe even he realizes.
Blake Lagaly – South Dearborn – CB – 5’9″ 160lbs – 2024
Lagaly is a fairly sound recruit for his age. He’s able to flip his hips and run without any transition issues. It’s a natural flip and turn. He’s light on his feet and you can tell practices the backpedal. While not totally there yet, it’s decent and helps him make plays and break on the ball. He’s able to stick his foot in the ground and explode towards the ball. Lagaly is quietly a ball-hawk as well and can do up and pluck the ball out of the air. He’s got a handful of interceptions this year but arguably the most impressive one was when he was out wide, flipped his hips, and ran. The WR had a go ball and it was a decently placed ball. However, Lagaly jumped and laid out in the air, stole the ball, and come down with the interception. He’s also jumped a few routes this year and has been picking up on tendencies to look for and exploit. He’s not afraid to come down and play the run either. He’s able to make tackles in the box and force the ball carrier back inside when he needs to. Lagaly has a lot of good tools and insticts on the field that have really helped him flourish into a consistent player. The best part is he’s got another year of development and could easily be much more refined in a year from now. He’s a true Corner and is able to be left on an island by himself which only bodes well for his future.
