As we head into the end of the regular season, it is time to look at a few seniors who have stood out as valuable prospects in one of the more under-recruited positions in the state, many of whom are without offers.
This article will look at six senior interior defensive linemen who deserve to be offered right now.
29 TCK, 6 TFL, 2 QB HUR, 3 sacks, 1 BLK FGBliek is the type of player that you watch, and wonder how it is that he only has one scholarship offer from an in-state school and a preferred walk-on offer (PWO) from Colorado. He is a relentless defensive tackle with the strength and speed needed to give any offensive front nightmares. His skill set and playing style make him an opponent that offensive coaches circle during film breakdowns and implement sessions that revolve around being aware of where he is and sending help to try and stop him. Bliek has been getting attention from a handful of Division I programs, but only Northern Colorado has extended a scholarship offer at the moment. Bliek is a prime example of a player who should have an offer from every program in the state.
Highlights
38 TCK, 9 QB HUR, 5 TFL, 3 sacks, 1 FMB REC
Greene is another player who has garnered some attention from notable schools but not to the level his talent fully deserves. He is big, strong, and explosive, making him a prime prospect for any defensive line. His skills make him capable of playing from just about anywhere on the line, but he shines when lined up as a three-tech. His power allows him to barrel through the guard and down-blocking center while also rolling over the running back to wreak havoc in the backfield. Greene has received scholarship offers from Eastern Washington and CSU-Pueblo, with CU only extending another PWO to a dominant in-state prospect. For the programs looking for a dominant 6-foot-5 defensive lineman, add Greene to the top of the board.

32 TCK, 1 FF, 1 sackFuruiye is an exceptional talent with a growing interest among collegiate programs at the D1 and D2 levels. He is a defensive tackle with a solid frame and the ability to play as a nose, a three-technique, or a defensive end. His understanding of the game has developed immensely, which has brought him a lot of success on the field this season. One of the many things that have made him a standout this year is his ability to sniff out screens and shut them down before they have a chance to develop. Furuiye has seen an uptick in interest from a few notable programs, but he is still awaiting his first official offer. With Furuiye on the verge of becoming a breakout recruit, offering him now would be a wise decision.
Highlights
Rice has transitioned from middle linebacker to nose on the defensive front, and the Bruins have been dominant due to the switch. Rice brings significant speed and power to the interior of the line. Once in the backfield, he quickly closes the distance to the ball carrier and initiates contact with impressive power and finishing abilities. With Rice making the move from inside backer to inside lineman, his versatile skillset and championship experience make him a prospect who should have multiple offers at this point.

24 TCK, 6 TFL, 2 FMB REC, 1 sackBoyland is another player who has transitioned from the linebacker core and made a significant impact as a defensive lineman. His skills as a running back and linebacker give him the explosive speed that allows him to get into the backfield and get to the ball before the offensive lineman is fully out of their stance. His formidable strength makes him difficult to beat, and his excellent vision helps him locate the ball carrier and stuff the gap immediately. Boyland is a low-flyer on the prospect radar, making him a true sleeper.
49 TCK, 2 TFL, 2 sacks, 1 QB HURSchoepflin is an under-the-radar player who has been an integral part of a dominant defensive front this season, making him a must-know athlete. What he lacks in height, he makes up with speed, strength, and determination. He is an athlete who can slip into the backfield from his nose position and sniff out the ball carrier in a hurry. His ability to beat the center at the point of attack makes him a player that may garner extra attention from a guard, freeing up potential obstacles for his teammates. Schoepflin is still working on getting an offer to play at the next level, making him a solid option for a program in search of a talented nose guard.
