Some of the top players in the 6A classification saw their season come to an end last Friday but what they did on the field will not soon be forgotten.

[player_tooltip player_id='406944' first='Christian' last='Blanch'] || LB || 6'1 || 215 || Fremont High School || 2023

Blanch was the heart of not just the Silverwolve's defense but their entire team. The physical linebacker finished second in the state in tackles with over 45 and top 10 in interceptions with six. In nine of Fremont's 10 games, he had over 10 tackles utilizing his sideline-to-sideline speed to make play after play. Blanch has an excellent nose for the football and easily gets past offensive linemen to make plays in the run game. In coverage, he has excellent awareness and instincts that allow him to create turnovers. Even though his season is over, there is no doubt that Blanch made the most of it.

[player_tooltip player_id='532689' first='Semisi' last='Kinikini'] || RB || 5'10 || 184 || Mountain Ridge High School || 2024

Kinikini was the engine that drove the Miner's offense all season. He finished the year with 1,550 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns. Kinikini is a powerful and nimble back who has excellent vision with the ball in his hands. He remains patient for holes to open and, once they do explodes through them. He never wears down, no matter how many carries he's had. Kinikini is also a strong receiver out of the backfield, making defenders miss in the open field. With his rare physical gifts, Kinikini will no doubt be a hot name on the recruiting scene in Utah.

[player_tooltip player_id='406950' first='Daxton' last='Faddis'] || DB || 6'0 || 200 || Syracuse High School || 2023

Faddis shined as the leader of a sensational Syracuse defense. He picked off three passes this season and had over 65 tackles on the year. Faddis' impact goes far beyond the stat sheet, as the 6'0 safety was responsible for stopping numerous explosive plays. He does a great job of tracking his man and the ball in coverage. Faddis never allows anyone to get behind him and uses his athleticism to keep up with some of the state's top pass catchers. He's an expectational tackler who flies toward the line of scrimmage to make plays. Faddis' ability to do it all on the backend makes him of the top defensive backs in the class of 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='212449' first='Salesi' last='Moa'] || WR || 6'0 || 165 || Weber High School || 2026

Moa may only be a freshman, but you would have thought he was a senior based on his tape. The Weber wideout took the state by storm with over 850 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Moa is an elite deep threat who gets behind defenses constantly. He's an elite athlete who can change direction at the drop of a dime. Defenses respect his speed allowing him to devastate them on comeback routes. Moa will only continue to improve and could be the top receiver in the state very soon.
