From literally going from an unknown player to a player that could possibly shatter many records as a wide receiver for the Greenwood Bulldogs. [player_tooltip player_id='191634' first='Grant' last='Karnes'] is a 6'0, 180 pound Sophomore Wide Receiver with 4.51 hand held speed in the 40 yard dash that could shatter records and become the greatest receiver to come out of Greenwood, Arkansas and possibly the state of Arkansas.

Grant already has 52 catches for 766 yards and 11 touchdowns in which he leads the state of Arkansas as a receiver only playing 14 quarters in 6 games. He is also a threat at returning kickoffs where he also leads the state averaging 38 yards per return with 1 returned for a touchdown.

Grant says the attention he is getting now makes all the hard work worth while. Greenwood has this week off as it is a bye week for them. Greenwood is no stranger to great receivers with the last one being Drew Morgan who played at the University of Arkansas and went on to play in the NFL.

Grant played as a Freshman in the State Championship game last season against El Dorado in Little Rock where he says was an exciting experience for him as it was his first start for the high school. Grant feels what separates him from other receivers on other teams is his speed, ability to out jump his defender and being able to break tackles. He maintains a 4.0 GPA.

He says having two great quarterbacks to work with everyday and good chemistry together while also have great receivers in which makes it hard for other teams to defend them. Grant also says the offensive line has been awesome this season as he feels they are the best line in the state helps him succeed. Grant also plays two other sports one in which is baseball where he has an 89 mile per hour fastball and the other being basketball. The sky is the limit for [player_tooltip player_id='191634' first='Grant' last='Karnes'] who has unlimited potential to be great.

[player_tooltip player_id='160308' first='Hunter' last='Houston'] a 6'1, 205 pound quarterback is the most underrated quarterback in the state of Arkansas which puts a lot of pressure on him as he has to prove to everyone that he deserves to be mentioned as one of the best quarterbacks in the state. Hunter has the arm strength to go deep and the touch to put the ball where needed. He attributes his success to his great offensive line of which he says is the best in the state and the best receiving core in the state. He says his coaching staff has all the confidence in the world in him with his talent and leadership.

This season he has proven that he can hang with the best of them. Hunter is third in the state in passing yards with 1,624 yards and 18 touchdowns with a completion rate of 78 percent while only having 3 interceptions in 6 games. He has also rushed for 3 touchdowns. And also leads the state in scoring with 126 points and also leads the state of Arkansas with 21 total touchdowns.

Hunter has a 3.8 GPA and an ACT of 25 showing that his academics and athleticism give him the total package to succeed at the next level. His main goal is to get a State Championship and get a college scholarship. As for his individual goals he says whatever it takes to win.

Hunter says he likes being the underdog because his actions show up on the field with his great receiving core and protection from his offensive linemen and great coaching. With his talent, leadership and football IQ there is no doubt college coaches will be calling him up. He wants to show college coaches that he is more athletic than the game film shows.

He says his coaching staff does an incredible job of getting everyone prepared for the next level and getting to work with Freshman Phenom and the number one quarterback in the Class of 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='202575' first='Kane' last='Archer'] makes him a better player. He says that Kane is a top notch quarterback with special talents. So college coaches be on the lookout because [player_tooltip player_id='160308' first='Hunter' last='Houston'] is a special player with great talent.
