1. Canton (6-0)
Mid-Season Standout
Canton was on a four-straight shut-out streak this season. You can afford a large part of the team’s success to Riley Parker Riley Parker 5’11” | 185 lbs | ATH Canton High | 2023 State PA , a young man whose rank needs reworking. The Canton defense has been incredible, add Parker’s abilities on offense and you have one of the more complete teams in all of Class 1A.

2. Steelton-Highspire (4-1)
Mid-Season Standout
The Rollers will go as far as star quarterback Alex Erby Alex Erby 6’4″ | 210 lbs | QB Steelton-Highspire | 2024 State PA will lead them. Erby has thrown 11 touchdowns throughout his last two contests against Big Spring and Boiling Springs. The young man is trending in the right direction. Look up and Steelton-Highspire is on track to reach yet another State Title. ErbyIf keeps playing at this rate it might happen.

3. Bishop Canevin (5-1)
Mid-Season Standout
I remember seeing Jason Cross for the first time in Week One. He impressed me and shot his stock through the roof with his stellar all-around play. Fast forward to this past weekend and the star junior is shattering Bishop Canevin’s all-time passing record with 325 yards thrown against Fort Cherry. What can’t this kid do?
4. Our Lady Sacred Heart (6-0)
Mid-Season Standout
Love everything OLSH is doing right now. I could easily speak on so many prospects, it’s hard to pass up on Nehemiah Azeem Nehemiah Azeem 5’9″ | 170 lbs | QB Our Lady of the Sacred Heart | 2023 State PA . We spoke briefly on Azeem’s rising stock through three weeks. In those three weeks, Azeem accumulated close to 1,000 yards passing, scoring 12 times and leading the OLSH program to an undefeated record. In the ensuing weeks, not much has changed. Azeem and company are still carving up defenses, while still holding on to the WPIAL passing lead. One of the more exciting players to watch on tape.

5. Tri-Valley (6-0)
Mid-Season Standout
Jolten Flory Jolten Flory 6’2″ | 160 lbs | WR Tri-Valley | 2023 State PA has a few tapes up, showcasing how he’s helping Tri-Valley remain undefeated after each passing week. Flory’s going to contribute on both sides of the ball, but you can’t help but love what he brings to the table from his OLB spot. He can cover, he can set the edge, and tackle in open space. His size is evident on the field, he’s imposing. I’m inclined to raise his stock and change his position as well, although the young man is a productive wideout as well.
6. Reynolds (5-1)
Mid-Season Standout
Jalen Wagner
Jalen Wagner
How an eight-touchdown game goes unnoticed is beyond me. That’s exactly what Jalen Wagner of Reynolds HS accomplished a couple of weeks ago, cementing his spot in PA history with the greatest rushing performance in Mercer County history. If that’s not enough to help Reynolds win football games night in and night out, I don’t know what is. Wagner put up 393 yards in that game as well. I’ll add that that historic performance isn’t the only great game under his belt. How this kid is unranked is beyond me.
7. Muncy (5-0)
Mid-Season Standout
Branson Eyer Branson Eyer 6’0″ | 170 lbs | QB Muncy | 2023 State PA doesn’t have senior tape out as of yet. Digging deeper into why Muncy has been so successful this year and you’ll learn just how productive Eyer has been through five games. Eyer has broken multiple Muncy all-time records in the past couple of weeks. I’ll keep Eyer in mind moving forward, hoping he drops some tape to dissect. Shoutout to Ross Eyer and Kenny Hampe Kenny Hampe 6’3″ | 295 lbs | OL Muncy | 2025 State PA , two more prospects I’m fond of that have played a huge part in the undefeated Muncy season.
8. Redbank Valley (6-0)
Mid-Season Standout
Tough to pinpoint if there’s a more valuable player on Redbank Valley outside of Carsen Rupp Carsen Rupp 6’3″ | 235 lbs | OL Redbank Valley | 2023 State PA . Rupp, one of my favorite players to watch, is one of the better trenchman in Class 1A. Rupp has proven capable of providing reps almost any way along both offensive and defensive lines. Center, Tackle, IDL, defensive end. You name it, Rupp can do it. Rupp even has a pick-six recorded on tape, hard not to like a player like this. His stock is improving, while simultaneously leading his team to a 6-0 record.
9. Penn Manor (6-0)
Mid-Season Standout
Eli Warfel Eli Warfel 6’2″ | 180 lbs | QB Penn Manor | 2023 State PA is looking like a better version of his junior self. Warfel checks off boxes before and after the throw. Warfel has the ideal frame you look for in a senior quarterback, 6’2, enough weight on him to sustain hits, and stands tall in the pocket. Taking a look at his Mid-Season tape, Warfel is doubling down on everything he did to make our ranks. He deserves a climb based on his abilities with his legs alone. The young man is dominating football teams with his ability to read his keys and make the correct reads with both his arm and legs. Warfel has Penn Manor on track, excited to see more.

10. Eisenhower (6-0)
Mid-Season Standout
Kris Bunk
Kris Bunk
Kris Bunk is a new name to the site, one that is doing everything he can on offense, defense, and special teams to keep his Eisenhower squad undefeated through six games. It’s tough to find legitimate pass-catching tight ends at times. I think we did just that in Kris Bunk. Bunk is a weapon in-line or split out at tight end, one that has some YAC-ability to his name. He isn’t quite elusive, he doesn’t have game-breaking speed, yet he can surprise some if he gets some open field to work with. Bunk also provides pass-rushing reps. He’s a prospect that has his program trending in the right direction.
