He returned another INT for a TD, in the Oly's come from behind 26-19 win over North Salem. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='110182' first='Chip' last='Allers'] 23' Summit- Allers has been dominant all year, with people literally running away from his side a majority of each game. He accounted for 7 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 INT, and a TD all in the first half, in the 35-0 win over Redmond. Expect a handful of D1s or more to offer in the coming weeks & months. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='376116' first='Sanborne' last='Melson'] DB 23' Jefferson- Someone could get a big steal collegiately with Melson. His 99yard INT return for a TD highlighted an impressive defensive performance, in the Demo's 42-6 win over Franklin. </p>

<p><strong>Jonathan Berrien</strong> <strong>Jr.</strong> LB 24' Mountainside- The Junior was the most recent Maverick to have a breakout performance, recording 3 sacks, in the teams 42-14 win over Beaverton. (7-0) Mountainside will play #3 Jesuit next week. </p>

<p><strong>Tyler Mishler </strong>DB/ATH 23' McMinnville- The senior had a big night in the Grizzlies 49-34 win over Glencoe, picking off 2 passes, one of which he returned for a TD. He also had a receiving touchdown. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='376150' first='Trevor' last='Anderson'] RB/LB 23' Mazama/ <strong>Keegan McDowell </strong>DL 23' Mazama- Anderson is a 4A POY favorite and continues to torch the state on both sides of the football. He made 6 tackles with 2 tackles for loss on D, to go along with 11 touches for 233 yards and 2 TDs on offense. The 6-5 275 pound McDowell signifcantly adds to the teams dominance, racking up 4.5 tackles and 2 sacks. </p>

<p><strong>Deshawn Gilliam </strong>DB 24' South Albany- Gilliam had an outstanding night on both sides of the football, coming up with 4 solo tackles on D and multiple TDs on offense. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='278388' first='Boone' last='Standley'] DL 24' Nelson- Standley was a 2<sup>nd</sup> team all conference kid as a sophomore, totaling 3 sacks in the 54-28 conference win over David Douglas.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='272803' first='MyQuis' last='Fesser'] DB 23' Roosevelt- The all conference returner had 2 INTs in the teams 43-0 win over Madison. Fesser is another kid who could do well collegiateldy if given the opportunity. </p>

<p><strong>Bend Defense</strong>- The Lava Bears gave up 2 total yards of offense to Caldera HS in the 41-0 win. It was their 5<sup>th</sup> shutout of the season, with the defense giving up a Class 5A low of 42, in the last 7 weeks. 35 of those points were scored by #1 Summit a few weeks ago. </p>
