The 49-0 pasting of #8 South Medford only helped to solidify them as the state's #1. Oregon commit [player_tooltip player_id='226949' first='Teitum' last='Tuioti'] and Merriman are both unquestioned 1st team all-state athletes, combining for 5 tackles for loss in the shutout win. Mana is one of the fastest rising sophomores in the state and had 2 tackles for loss and 1 INT as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Madden Tanuvasa</strong> LB 25' Mountainside- Tanuvasa comes from a talented family with D1 genes (Pepe Tanuvasa-BYU, Layton Tanuvasa TRL POY) and he could be the best of the bunch. On D he had 10 total tackles with 2 tackles for loss, to go along with a 24 yard TD reception, in the (6-0) Mavericks 21-20 win over Sunset. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='194897' first='Vaughn' last='Croxton'] LB 23' Tigard- Croxton continues to have a monster year, helping his team to the biggest win of their season thus far. He added another 14 tackles in the Tigers 28-14 victory over #10 Lakeridge.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='204578' first='Caleb' last='Clardy'] LB 23' David Douglas- It's rare that a team with zero wins will have a 1st&nbsp;team all-state athlete on the roster. This is the exception to the rule. Clardy was all over the field again on D, making countless plays while forcing and recovering a fumble, for another TD. On offense he added two more touchdowns (1 rushing, 1 receiving). Reynolds scored 2 TDs late in the 22-18 win, with Clardy leaving in the 2nd&nbsp;half due to injury.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='152351' first='Jaylan' last='Moore'] CB 24' Sherwood- The 3* DB has had a good year, leaving no doubt on Friday with an INT return for a TD and an offensive touchdown reception. The Bowmen blasted a much-improved McMinnville squad 55-12.<br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='270180' first='Marshune' last='Waters'] DB 23' Grant- The returning 1st team all-conference DB helped make a PIL statement in the teams 35-0 win over Franklin. His 2 INTs and 1 offensive touchdown helped pace the Generals. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='206766' first='Jeray' last='Mott'] DB/ATH 24' Jefferson- Mott returned a punt 80 yards for a TD, picked off a pass, and also had 100+ yards rushing in Jeff's 26-14 win over Wilson.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Noah Scharer</strong> LB 25' South Salem- The two-sport standout is one of the top 25's in the CVC and had an impressive week, making 11 tackles with 2 tackles for loss, 2 PBUs, and 1 INT in the Saxons 55-19 win over McNary. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Brock Dunkin</strong> LB 23' Dallas- The Dragons have the potential to make a 5A playoff run with kids like Dunkin. The 6-2 190-pound backer, made 14 total tackles with 3 tfl's and 1 INT for a TD, in the teams 48-26 win over Lebanon.  </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='206867' first='Connor' last='Dye'] LB 24' Springfield- Dye started as a freshman and is one of the top RBs in the state at the 5A level. He impressed on D this past week with 2 sacks. He added 100+ yards and 2 TDs offensively in their 31-14 win over Churchill.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='376150' first='Trevor' last='Anderson'] LB 23' Mazama- Anderson is a state POY candidate for Oregon's #1 4A team. He continues to do his thing on O and was also a standout on D. He returned an INT 30 yards for a TD, and added 3 tackles for loss and a sack, in the 47-0 win over Hidden Valley.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
