Grants Pass (5-2) vs #1 Sheldon (7-0) SHELD -35.5

GP is coming off a clutch 27-26 win over #12 South Medford, with WR [player_tooltip player_id='271399' first='Jackson' last='Tunick'] and QB Jace Blanchard having 1st team all-conference type seasons. That said as Sheldon is on a completely different level and ranked the #1 team in the entire NW.

#2 West Linn (6-1) vs Lakeridge (2-5) WL -37

The Lions are playing as well as anyone in the region, dismantling #8 Tigard last week 63-14. The Pacers have talent up and down the board but can't seem to put it together. Last week's 29-28 loss to Oregon City is a tough one to swallow

#7 Mountainside (7-0) vs #3 Jesuit (6-1) JES -21.5

The Mavericks are one of the fastest rising programs in the state, with one of the top O lines in Oregon, and a host of young talent on the perimeter. They have played well in crunch time with three 1-point wins, but Jesuit is a state title contender.

6-4 200-pound RB [player_tooltip player_id='205822' first='Payton' last='Roth'] and a highly touted line are going to run right at Mountainside, which will free up the likes of [player_tooltip player_id='152334' first='Jace' last='Burton']. Roth has rushed for close to 300 yards multiple weeks in a row with no one able to contain him. This has the potential of being the biggest game in Mountainside's young history.

Clackamas (3-4) vs #4 Central Catholic (6-1) CC -30

For Clack the close losses to Barlow and Nelson were telling but not stunning. The 24-14 loss to Sandy really put things into perspective. The reigning state champs could very well make another title run, with [player_tooltip player_id='152354' first='Cru' last='Newman'] looking like he will be the Mt Hood POY once again.

#5 Lake Oswego (5-2) vs #8 Tigard (6-1) LO -1.5

Probably the most competitive game of the night. Coach Steve Coury backed up why he might be the best to ever coach in Oregon, with last week's 35-31 win over Tualatin.

This young Laker team still has something to prove with Tigard in the same boat, after getting blasted by #2 West Linn last week. Sophomore QB [player_tooltip player_id='285866' first='Liam' last='Davis'] will be that X factor for LO. If he plays well the Lakers win.

#14 Oregon City (4-3) vs #6 Tualatin (5-2) -15.5

As noted at the beginning of the year OC returned double digit all conference athletes, so the recent success isn't that surprising. The 29-28 win over Lakeridge team last week was huge for the program. Expect Tualatin to come out fired up after taking the 35-31 L to Lake Oswego. A loss that should have never happened. This one might be closer than most think.

#9 Sherwood (5-2) vs Glencoe (2-5) SHER-28.5

The Bowmen have looked good the last few weeks and are playing their best ball heading into the playoffs. Glencoe has battled with losses to #1 Sheldon and #8 Tigard. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='412220' first='Maliq' last='Smith'] and Junior QB [player_tooltip player_id='278392' first='Trevor' last='O'leary'] are having 1st team all-conference type seasons. That said I would be surprised if it was close.

#10 Nelson (5-1) vs Sandy (4-3) NEL -5

Sandy got one of their biggest wins in school history a few weeks back over Clackamas. They control their own destiny with Nelson and Barlow on the schedule to close the year.

Nelson Sophomore QB [player_tooltip player_id='285852' first='Avirey' last='Durdahl'] is special with legit talent all around him. This has the potential of being a good football game with confidence high on both sides.

Sprague (4-3) vs #11 South Salem SSAL -10.5

The Saxons have looked good all year, with one 13-point loss to #12 South Medford. A team I think they would beat now. Whoever wins most likely gets the conference title.

Week in and week out [player_tooltip player_id='110179' first='Drew' last='Rodriguez'] looks like a state player of the year candidate on both sides of the football. South should make someone else beat them.

Roseburg (0-6) vs #12 South Medford (5-2) SMED -36.5

The 27-26 loss to GP was a heartbreaker for South. Look for them to be aggressive and get back on track.

Beaverton (1-6) vs #13 Westview (2-5) WV -32.5

Westview has played one of the toughest schedules in the state thus far. Back-to-back weeks versus Aloha and Beaverton allows them to get rested. Look for [player_tooltip player_id='110209' first='Jordan' last='Fisher'] to go for 200+ in the first half and be done.

#15 Barlow (3-4) vs Reynolds (4-3) BARL -23.5

You got to have respect for the Bruins schedule, with losses to #4 Central Catholic, #5 Lake O, #7 Mountainside, and #10 Nelson. They should roll Reynolds with next week's game versus Sandy determining a lot as it relates to playoff position.
