6. Bethel Park (8-1)
Mid-Season Standout
Here’s a sophomore whose impact can be felt across the board. A special return man, a player who demands the ball in open space, something Bethel Park does very well. Ryan Petras Ryan Petras 5’9″ | 165 lbs | ATH Bethel Park | 2025 State PA is a heavily utilized sophomore that can score from pretty much anywhere on the field. in a myriad of ways, I might add. His mid-season tape shows off his excellent return skills, both punt and kick. The tape also shows how easily he can gain yards when involved in jet-sweep, misdirection sets. You might assume he’s a gadget player that needs smoke and mirrors to excel. That notion dissipates when you see him work at slow wideout, as well as at Safety. Petras’ overall game has elevated every phase of Bethel Park football. Quite the feat for an underclassman.
7. Solanco (9-0)
Mid-Season Standout
Here’s a young man due for a rankings boost. Much like the previously mentioned Petras, Elijah Cunningham Elijah Cunningham 6’0″ | 175 lbs | ATH Solanco | 2023 State PA affects the game at all three phases. No alignment suits Cunningham better than defensive back. The senior athlete sees the field in front of him well, attacking play-side runs before blockers can get set up. Great play recognition. He’s a physical tackler in space, good closing speed against the run as well. Cunningham shows off some flare with his ball skills. His first interception is a wow-play, one he brings down with one hand. Cunningham is also a frequently used weapon in sweep action on offense. Great open-field vision, pacing. Will also provide quality special teams work.
8. Cathedral Prep (7-2)
Mid-Season Standout
9. Chester (8-1)
Mid-Season Standout
Cymeer Brown
Cymeer Brown
When speaking on Chester’s special year, names like the Harris twins, Dominic Toy Dominic Toy 6’5″ | 225 lbs | TE Chester | 2024 State PA and Colin Ferrell Colin Ferrell 5’11” | 180 lbs | LB Chester | 2023 State PA come up. One prospect who doesn’t get enough attention is athlete and playmaker Cymeer Brown. Brown is the recipient of the majority of Jalen Harris’ throws. Only six or seven games into his senior year, Brown broke the Chester receiving record that stood at 721. Brown is well within reach of 1,000 yards this year. QB/WR/RB/KR/PR/DB, I’d trust Cymeer Brown to provide quality reps at all of these alignments. Game-changing speed, Brown can take the top off a defense with ease, providing the splash plays Chester has thrived off of all year long. Harris knows he has a guy that can run under his 50+ yard bombs, you’ll have to account for his speed every down he’s on the field. Harris to Toy is a nightmare to cover, defensive game planners best not forget about Cymeer Brown either.
10. Southern Lehigh (8-1)
Mid-Season Standout
I’m intrigued by underclassman, two-way lineman Gijs Fooij Gijs Fooij 6’3″ | 225 lbs | OL Southern Lehigh | 2025 PA . Just two games under his Hudl, yet two tapes that lead me to believe we might have a rankable prospect along the Southern Lehigh trenches. His reps along the defensive front excite, yet I imagine his skillset and build will more than likely have him best suited for a future along the offensive line. For now, I’m happy to see him getting valuable reps on both sides of the football. I hope he is soaking in as much knowledge as he can. I’ll have my eye on this kid’s development moving forward.
