Now, one of the more impressive groups in my opinion is the offensive lineman from the Freshman class. With a great bit of size, and strength that is being able to build on, I think that the offensive lineman in this class are phenomenal!
Cody Taylor Cody Taylor 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Greenwood | 2026 State AR – Guard – Greenwood High School
This season so far Cody has been able to light up some defenders. From my standpoint, he’s very finesse with his hand and footwork. Which is good because his natural strength backs everything in his game up. He has great vision and knows how to capitalize off of his work. He knows his assignment and he has a great future ahead of him on the offensive line!
Nicholas Barry Nicholas Barry 6'1" | 285 lbs | OL Rogers Heritage | 2026 State AR – Center – Rogers Heritage
Barry is a big body center that can play with his size. He has a great build for the center position. He uses his size to his advantage on the line, but his hip mobility is also there. He does have some strength to go along with his playing ability. I think with some development, he’ll be one of the better centers in his class. I look for big games to come out of him and look forward to seeing him play along his career at Rogers.
Samuel Hicks Samuel Hicks 6'4" | 300 lbs | OL Booneville | 2026 State AR – Tackle – Greenwood High School
There’s one word I can describe him with and that’s physical. He is one of the more explosive tackles that I’ve viewed. He has some fantastic footwork. One of the biggest takeaways that I’ve looked at is his hands. When you look for some solid hand placement, this is the type of guy that you want to see. He always has his hands ready for that initial strike to the chest and more times than not, he blows everyone off the ball.
Alec Huie Alec Huie 6'3" | 310 lbs | OL Clinton | 2026 State AR – Tackle – Clinton High School
Alec is an all around physical offensive lineman. When that train gets rolling he’s going to absolutely engulf you. He has the will power and the strength to overpower you in every which way. His ball get off is great and he has some fantastic hand placement. Now his strength is his biggest playing style in my opinion. More times than not he has his opponent on his back, and that’s exactly why his play stands out.
