Foster is one of the top players around Northern California and a huge playmaker on both sides of the ball. He is versatile out of the backfield, through the air and on the ground, while a hard runner and very tough to bring down in the open field. So far this season, Foster has rushed for over 1,100 yards and 16 touchdowns helping Orland to an undefeated mark thus far.
QB Tyler Grigsby, East Nicolaus HS
Grigsby is over the 1k yard marker on the ground from his quarterback position, and is averaging over 11 yards per carry and over 120 YPG. East Nicolaus is one of the top teams in the section, and could be in line to make a deep playoff run and possibly even a Norcal bowl bid. This is a explosive offense that is one to watch through out the playoffs.
RB Ryan Dyab, University Prep HS
Dyab is another offensive player over the 1k rushing mark, while tacking on another 6 TD’s and averaging over 5 YPC so far this season for one of the top teams in the section. He is a violent runner that runs downhill, shows leg drive through contact and runs through arm tackles easily. Always falling forward, he has a natural lean and good vision in tight windows while quick enough to bounce it outside and make defenders take poor angles/has cutback abilities.
RB Rhett Risse, East Nicolaus HS
Risse has rushed for 955 yards this season and 8-YPC while adding 16 touchdowns on the ground alone. He is part of a punishing and explosive rushing attack for the Spartans that is one to watch for as we close in on the playoffs. East Nicolaus is one of the more respected small school teams in Northern California, and has had consistently good teams over the past 5 or so years and state bowl game appearances.
QB Gus Stogsdill, Gridley HS
Another dual-threat signal caller that has rushed over the 1,000 yard marker, Stogsdill is the main reason why Gridley is so successful on offense. He has added another 11 TD’s while averaging 6 YPC on the season. He is a downhill runner that reads the field well when in space and bounces off tacklers in the box. Especially for a quarterback, what he is able to do on the ground is very impressive.
RB Daegon Gorre, Trinity HS
Gorre has burst onto the scene this Fall and erupted for 1,339 yards on the ground and 19 TD’s, which leads the entire Northern Section.
Other Top Rushing Leaders…
RB Manuel Lopez, Pierce HS

RB Cannon Oilar, Fall River HS
897 yards rushing, 10 TD’s.
