Last Friday night was possibly the top high school game in the state of Missouri featuring the most future D1 talent. Both Lee's Summit North and Raymore-Peculiar have high level P5 talent in each class already committed or with double-digit offers from D1 colleges across the Midwest and country. While the game was not as competitive as I expected to be, the top talent did not disappoint in showing why they are so heavily recruited. Here is my take on what I saw in the Broncos victory over the Panthers.

LEE'S SUMMIT NORTH

[player_tooltip player_id='37658' first='Cayden' last='Green']

Class of 2023 Oklahoma commit showed why he was one of the top offensive line prospects in the nation. Great size, strength and athleticism combined with a superior skill set and technique makes him a wall for opposing defensive linemen to go against. Green did his usual great job opening holes on runs and providing excellent pass protection. He even lined up out wide on a designed play that scored. We'll see if he has the hands to haul in a pass at some point this season or during the playoffs.

[player_tooltip player_id='177938' first='Isaiah' last='Mozee']

Big play wide receiver with over 20 offers is bigger, faster and quicker then last season and with the same great hands and elusive playmaking ability. Mozee had a really nice catch in traffic in the end zone for a score, and also took a screen to the house for another one. He has great speed and is a deep threat or has the ability to take a short pass and weave through defenders to take it to the house. He plays his role well on a team that has a lot of weapons.

[player_tooltip player_id='185397' first='Williams' last='Nwaneri']

Nwaneri was a problem early and often for Ray-Pec putting pressure on the quarterback and getting into the backfield to disrupt using his length and explosive first step and motor to make plays. He's more then just a problem with pressing the QB. He means business when he tackles and lowers the boom with big hits. He also uses his height and arm reach to disrupt passing lanes getting his hands up. He leads the Broncos with 5 sacks to go along with his 16 total tackles. Another big time prospect with over 20 offers from schools in the SEC, Big 12, Big 10, and other major conferences.

[player_tooltip player_id='285166' first='Ka'Mori' last='Moore']

The powerful and explosive DT/NG did a nice job plugging the middle of the defense when he is the rotation. Moore has the size and strength to be a two gap and the quickness and get off to play a three tech and put pressure inside in the backfield. He fills his role with the Broncos well and you can see why he has multiple D1 offers as only a sophomore. Moore was dominant at the 2022 Elite Football combine in one on ones. He holds offers currently from Iowa State, Nebraska and Miami (OH), while he's hearing from Missouri, Oklahoma and Iowa.

[player_tooltip player_id='328601' first='Chase' last='Pearsall']

Pearsall is another sophomore talent who has already picked up offers. The very active and athletic linebacker does a great job making plays in the Broncos defense and helped contribute to their win against Ray-Pec and holding the offense in check. Chase has gotten bigger, is more physically developed and looks faster. He continues to progress as a player and athlete. Look for more offers to come his way this off season to add to his ones from Missouri and Nebraska.

[player_tooltip player_id='275638' first='Jayden' last='Hines']

The speedy Hines had a bit of a coming out party on Friday showing his talents, and especially his breakaway speed being able to hit and extra gear and separate from defenders. Hines score on two big plays, one catch and run for 86 yards, and another on an 85 yard run for a score that he used his 4.5 forty speed on. For good measure he stepped in at QB and had a toss to [player_tooltip player_id='177938' first='Isaiah' last='Mozee'] for a third score. Hines is one of the top overall athletes in his class and was a top performer at the 2022 Elite Football Combine. He has a high ceiling with his potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='185373' first='Elijah' last='Leonard']

Elijah had a perfect night going three for three passing for 111 yards and a TD. The big 6'4" 215lb athletic signal-caller who transferred from Liberty North in the off-season does a nice job splitting time with senior [player_tooltip player_id='383116' first='Maxxwell' last='Ford']. He looks smooth in the pocket and does a nice job running the offense and leading his team. He has nice touch and accuracy on his throws and has completed 61% of his passes on the year. He can also run well and has average 4.7 yards per run for 123 yards and two touchdowns. He recently picked up his first offer from South Dakota.

[player_tooltip player_id='262747' first='Jamir' last='Conn']
The talented cornerback who has picked up a half dozen D1 offers did a nice job covering some talented Ray-Pec receivers and helping shut down the Panther offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='230439' first='Tanner' last='Howes']
A highly underrated running back who just gets the job done using his speed, quickness and toughness to make plays, pick up yards and score touchdowns. He runs hard every play and looks like he may break a big run every touch. Howe has 93 yards and 2 TD score

Tre Williams
Williams is an impressive sophomore OT prospect who did a great job with his run blocking and pass pro. He has good size, quick feet and showed good technique all night catching my attention.

RAYMORE-PECULIAR

[player_tooltip player_id='178435' first='Jaden' last='Reddell']

Reddell was pretty much held in check by a swarming Broncos defense and cover support, but you could see the reason why he is one of the rising prospect in the 2024 class picking up multiple big time offers, including from Alabama last week. The 6'5" 225 TE runs like a WR, has 4.41 speed and great hands. He also is a quick twitch athlete who can make defenders miss and runs well after the catching picking up yards and can take it to the house. He made some really nice catches of his 6 he had while being well covered for 58 yards. He's also physical and blocks well. One of the elite caliber prospects I have seen this year.

Jaiden Doss

The Nebraska commit had a tough night against the Bronco defense who blanketed the field on Friday night. Doss is a threat running the ball, catching the ball and in returns. His best play of the night was called back on a holding call. He was held to 48 yards total offense but you could see the ability he has shown the last three years that made so many offer him. He informed me that despite the coaching change that he remains solidly committed.

[player_tooltip player_id='284039' first='DeZephen' last='Walker']

A phenomenal freshman prospect who had an electrifying 82 yard kick return for the Panthers only score of the night, and also had 90 yard run called back on a holding penalty, is one of the top freshman in the state of Missouri overall if not the top prospect in it's 2026 class. The 6'0" 190lb Walker shows elite speed, elusiveness and and playmaker ability when he touches the ball. If he continues on the same trajectory that he has been on since middle school then he will be one of the most heavily recruited prospect in the Midwest if not country by his senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='103410' first='Zander' last='Dombrowski']

Dombrowski had been one of the top passers in the Kansas City area and state heading into the game against LSN. He's thrown for over 1,300 yards and 19 touchdowns, but the Broncos defense with it's pressure and great coverage held the entire Panther offense in check. Zander complete 6 of 13 throws for 64 yards. He does a great job leading his team.

Taryan Snyder

Snyder is a heck of a physical specimen playing DE for the Panthers. The 255lb DL had 6 tackles on the night and has had 37 tackles and 3 sacks on the year. He has the frame to get bigger and play inside on the next level. With his athleticism and strength he could become a force as an interior DL.

[player_tooltip player_id='300514' first='Marquise' last='Fisher-Flippen']

FIsher-Flippen is a space-eater along the interior for the Panthers. He has good quickness and explodes of the ball and battles opposing offensive linemen hard.

Tanner Franklin
Active Panther safety led his team with 11 tackles on the night against Lee's Summit North.
