Can you believe we're already in the middle of October? The 2022 high school football season is flying by and every game is now becoming of the most importance. For some it will be a month of jubilation, for others, it may be the last time they suit up. That being said, across the Keystone State there are plenty of great matchups over these last few weeks of the regular season including across Districts 3 through 6.

Cambria Heights (6-1) vs Penns Manor (7-0)

We start off in District 3 tonight as Penns Manor looks to continue their perfect season against Cambria Heights. The Comets are off to a dominating start this season, allowing less than 10 points per game while scoring nearly 40 points per game. Cambria Heights isn't too far off themselves and their lone loss of the season was a 35-28 loss in their season opener. Could the red-hot Highlanders knock off the Comets? A win on Friday night for Penns Manor will almost all but guarantee a Heritage Conference title for the Comets but a win for Cambria Heights would mean we're in for a fantastic finish in the Heritage Conference that would give the Highlanders the upper hand heading into the final weeks.

Schuylkill Valley (5-2) vs Hamburg (6-1)

The Schuylkill Valley Panthers will look to knock off Hamburg this evening. The Panthers have won five straight after starting their season off with back-to-back losses. Hamburg last weekend got back into the win column after suffering their first loss against Lancaster Catholic at the end of September.

Mifflinburg (6-1) vs Milton (6-1)

Mifflinburg and Milton square off in a big one within the Heartland conference. Mifflinburg is at the top of Heartland I while Milton is currently second in Heartland III with a 2-1 conference record. Both teams are on winning streaks currently as well, which team will stay hot? That being said, despite Schuylkill Valley having the 5-2 record to Hamburg's 6-1 record. The Panthers are still atop the Lanaster-Lebanon 5 conference with a 4-0 record. Hamburg's lone loss to Lancaster Catholic has them in second right now but a win and a Lancaster Catholic loss this weekend could help even things in the conference. The Hawks, of course, would still need some help to win a conference title this season.

Juniata Valley (5-2) vs Windber (6-1)

The Hornets of Juniata Valley are on a four-game winning streak and are flying high heading into Friday night's matchup against Windber. The Windber Ramblers have mostly been dominant this season, their lone loss coming to Berlin Brothersvalley a few weeks ago. Since then, however, they've won their next two matchups by a combined score of 97-0.
