This will be a prime 6A football matchup with many different matchups. This will be a Thursday night game North Shore arrives to this game with the slightly more explosive offense averaging 49 points a game and only giving up only around 12 points a game. King is currently ranked at number #10 in the city of Houston. Summer Creek’s only losses were to number #1 North Shore, #3 Atascocita, and Klein Cain who is ranked within the top 20 in the state. While King has only lost to #1 Northshore, #8 Westfield, and Allen another top 20 schools in the state. Logan Mackey will be the most explosive player to watch in this game playing for King.
#24 St. Johns vs #43 Kinkaid
This will be a Friday night lights primetime game. This a private school match-up that has the potential to be a classic. St. Johns is currently ranked at number #24 and their record stands at 7-2. While the Kinkaid Falcons are ranked at #43 and stand currently at 5-4. Kinkaid came with losses to Jasper and Archbishop high school which are both currently 6-2 then lost to #11 ranked St. Thomas and #14 Episcopal. Kinkaid’s offense is high energy and powered by the Bell brothers. One at running back and the other at receiver. St. John’s has offensive weapons Cole Allen and Pierce Leverette. This will be a great passing game full overall or nothing plays.
#16 Clear Falls vs #62 Clear Lake
This will be a great game due to it being an in-district matchup, number #62 ranked in the city Clear Lake high school will enter into this game 5-3 while Clear Falls high school is 6-2 and ranked at number #16. Clear Falls will enter this game averaging about 32 points a game and average giving up about 25 points a game. While Clear Lake only averages scoring around 23 points a game and giving up around 22 points a game. Clear Falls is a ground-and-pound team with running back David Smith and their complete offensive line. While Clear Falls has a more balanced approach with standout receiver Broderick Johnson who can also ignite the field as a return man.
