He hits like a Mack Truck and brings it every tackle. He is patient inside the box and plays with good leverage when the ball goes away. He is very skilled blitzer who gets skinny in the gaps and can wreak havoc. His pass drops are quick and he has the size to naturally cancel the underneath routes. Currently has many offers on the table but is committed to Ball State.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='284816' first='Brendan' last='Keener']</strong>, OL, 2024 - Brendan is a beast of a Tackle. He comes off the ball with a mean streak and gets after it. Darby employs a running offense, therefore, his run blocking technique is exemplary. He gets great drive with a wide base. He has a devastating punch and gets under the defenders. He plays to the whistle and through it. Great puller with good speed up to the second level. Very patient reader of plays and transitions well from run to pass. He stays on top of routes with good speed and spacing. Has very good hips and can flip them on a dime. He is tall, athletic, and can make all the throws. He is a real threat with his legs when he pulls it. He is dynamic in the open field and can score from anywhere. He throws a nice spiral and fits it into tight windows. He has great decision making and command of the offense. Impressive ability for a Junior to read the play through. He runs the top off the defense and blows by defenders. He runs great intermediate and short routes with great hip flip and snap. Catches the ball with his hands out in front of his body all the time. Jumps over defenders and attacks the ball. Can score every time he touches the ball. He deserves a look at D2 and D1 and will garner offers if he keeps up the pace he has started at. He has a lower center of gravity and great wiggle because of it. He is a tough runner inside and outside the tackles. He runs patiently and bursts through the crease. He can pull away with his speed in the secondary. He is great in the screen game and sets up the blocks well.
