Menard was the most dominant defensive player on the field. He didn’t get the sack, but he pressured the quarterback and forced him into a sack. Later, he put immediate pressure on the quarterback, forcing the quarterback to pull the ball down for a short gain. Against the running game, his immediate pressure resulted in a tackle for loss. On the next play, he was immediately in the backfield – forcing a fumble.
As a Wildcat quarterback, he exploded up the hole for a 70 yard touchdown run. Back at quarterback, he picked the hole and picked up ten yards. Then, he scrambled to the outside for fifteen yards; He showed good vision when he started left and cut to the right for a first down. He showed his physical toughness with a tough run in the middle. Albrecht read a draw play and made an open-field tackle. On offense, he caught a short touchdown pass.
