October is here and we have begun updating all of our prospect rankings throughout the website. Last week, we released our first watch list for the 2026 class. The first rankings for that class will come out in January. This week, it’s all about the 2025 class. We’ve updated those rankings to feature the top 75 sophomores in the state. You can check out the full rankings RIGHT HERE. In this post, we’re taking a look at some of the better offensive linemen in the state’s 2025 class. Not only do we see a few dominant offensive linemen here, but we also see a long snapper who has turned heads. Stay tuned throughout the week for more 2025 prospect breakdowns. And keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma throughout the month for the 2024 and 2023 prospect rankings.
Owasso has one of two offensive linemen on this breakdown and sophomores Blake Cherry Blake Cherry 6’6″ | 290 lbs | OL Owasso | 2025 State OK and fellow lineman Ryker Haff Ryker Haff 6’6″ | 290 lbs | OL Owasso | 2025 State OK will be the cornerstones of the Owasso offense over the next two seasons. The Rams had a brutal start to the season with arguably the toughest schedule in the state. But the Rams are starting to put things together with the playoffs right around the corner. Cherry lines up on one side of the offensive line and has performed incredibly well when we’ve seen him. Back in late May, a few Owasso coaches made sure to point him and Haff out to us and simply mentioned how they would be on our 2025 lists moving forward. We watched them in action and they obviously knew what they were talking about.
The top offensive lineman in the recent ranking update was Union offensive lineman Jesse Jones Jesse Jones 6’2″ | 280 lbs | OL Union | 2025 State OK . While quarterback Shaker Reisig Shaker Reisig 6’0″ | 185 lbs | QB Union | 2025 State OK grabbed plenty of headlines last fall starting for Jenks as a freshman, Jones was starting along the line. And like Reisig, Jones made the move this offseason to Union. And the results have been outstanding. Jones and the Redhawks have one of the best offensive lines in Class 6A-1 and they’ve paved the way for running back DJ McKinney DJ McKinney 6’0″ | RB Union | 2023 State OK to be one of the best offensive playmakers in the state. Jones is playing right tackle this fall and the one thing that we’re interested in with him moving forward is whether or not he stays at tackle or if an interior spot on the line will be a more natural fit for him at the next level.

Sophomore offensive lineman Justus Gilliam Justus Gilliam 6’1″ | 250 lbs | OL Sulphur | 2025 State OK went from one southern Oklahoma power to another as he moved from Plainview to Sulphur during the summer. And the Bulldogs have had a strong season, even though they’ve been playing with heavy hearts following the passing of their legendary head coach. Gilliam is a young offensive lineman that we’ve heard a lot about and we’re looking forward to watching more tape and potentially seeing him in person. The scouting report that we’ve received on him, along with watching some video is that he’s got a mean streak and could be one of the better interior linemen in the class. Whether it’s on offense or defense, Gilliam has the ability to be a prospect on the rise moving forward.

The other Owasso lineman in the breakdown is Ryker Haff Ryker Haff 6’6″ | 290 lbs | OL Owasso | 2025 State OK . While Cherry takes care of one side of the line, Haff lines up on the other and has been absolutely dominant so far this season. His midseason film was so impressive to watch as his strength just jumped off the screen non-stop. When Haff fires off the ball into a defender, more times than not, that defender ended up on their back. And even in pass protection Haff does a great job with his hands getting locked onto an opponent and again, the strength takes over. Haff also benefits from having some D1 DNA. His older brother Connor played defensive line for Owasso a few years ago and signed with Abilene Christian out of high school. While Connor was terrorizing quarterbacks, Ryker is protecting them.

So our last prospect on this breakdown isn’t exactly just an offensive lineman prospect. Moore sophomore Seth Freeman Seth Freeman 6’0″ | LS Moore | 2025 State OK is listed in our data base as a long snapper. Just like kickers and punters, it’s incredibly hard to rank a long snapper in the overall rankings because how do you compare his position to another one. Freeman has made the rounds over the last 18 months to various special teams camps and has performed incredibly well as a long snapper. We’re looking forward to seeing how he continues to grow over the next two and a half seasons. Freeman wants to be considered one of the better special teams prospects in the state and we’re interested to see how his recruitment begins as a long snapper specialist.
