#1 BOLD Bolts Past Maple Lake: Game Recap

MAPLE LAKE, MINN-- Our Prep Redzone Minnesota Game of the Week took us to Irish Country Stadium to watch Minnesota's #1 ranked team in 1A in the BOLD Warriors (4-0) to take on 2A Maple Lake Irish (0-4). Even though BOLD was banged up with 2025 QB Jack Gross Jack Gross 6'4" | 180 lbs | QB BOLD | 2025 State MN out, the Warriors were able to take care of business offensively with four key touchdowns by another 2025 RB prospect that really caught our eyes with his game on Friday night. 1st Quarter
Around the 6:12 mark of the first quarter, after getting their first touchdown swiped by an illegal shift call, the durable 2025 rushing attack of Kaden Fischer took it in from 14 yards out for the BOLD Warriors for his first of several touchdowns of the night. The Warriors were able to convert on the two-point conversion too. BOLD 8, Maple Lake 0.

for a 35-yard reception to the Irish 5-yard line, it was yet again Kaden Fischer that finished out the Warriors drive by a 1-yard dive up the middle for another BOLD touchdown around the 10:37 mark of the 2nd quarter. , who pinned his punt with good hangtime and a solid roll down the Maple Lake 3-yard line. With operating again with a short field off the Maple Lake punt, Kaden Fischer got touchdown number four, and his durability came out. I wish I had a video of his lowered shoulder on the 2-point conversion as the 5'10 190 pounds packed a punch to put the Warriors up 28-0. BOLD 28, Maple Lake 0.
With just a few ticks left in the game, the Maple Lake Irish got on the board with a pretty-looking touch pass from 2023 QB Jarrett Faue found 2023 WR Logan Salmela with an impressive catch in the end zone. Even though Maple Lake ended up in the loss column, I love how much this team fought their tail off against BOLD for the entirety of the game. BOLD 28, Maple Lake 6. Final
