St. George | If the Woodland High football team is to make a serious run at the Class 2A Lower State title this season, they will need 2023 quarterback Sudarian Harrison to play at a very high level. So far, so good.

Harrison, a 5-11, 170-pound dual-threat performer, has been very good through six games of the 2022 season. He has led the Wolverines to a 6-0 start and a No. 6 ranking in Class 2A. The latest heroics came in Wednesday night's 42-35 win over No. 7 3a Hanahan in a battle of undefeated teams.

Harrison produced two rushing touchdowns of 21 and 18 yards in the fourth quarter of a back-and-forth game to lead the Wolverines to their first-ever win over Hanahan after 13 previous losses.

Harrison, a USC-Aiken baseball commitment but leaving his football options open, finished the night with 144 yards rushing and 137 yards passing. Harrison has totaled more than 1,400 combined passing and rushing yardage in six games.

In terms of prospects, Harrison and his teammates are overshadowed by 2024 tackle [player_tooltip player_id='139286' first='Kam' last='Pringle']. The 6-7, 330-pound Pringle holds more than 20 offers and is the top-ranked prospect in SC in his class. But, as colleges view film and watch Pringle in person, the doors are opened for his teammates to be scouted as well. Pringle paved the way up front for nearly 400 yards in total offense on this night while also seeing key time on the defensive line.

2023 running back Jaylen Ingram also had a solid night, rushing for 120 yards and two touchdowns.

For Hanahan, 2024 running back [player_tooltip player_id='91352' first='Kevon' last='Rivera'] rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns, including a 45-yard scoring jaunt.

Rising 2025 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='367350' first='Jaden' last='Cummings'], a developing quarterback, threw for 207 yards and two scores. Cummings is very good at mid-range passes with a good touch and good mechanics. As he gains strength and weight, the 6-1, 175-pounder will likely rise up recruiting boards.
