<p><strong>Corner Canyon</strong> <strong>Chargers</strong></p>

<p>The Charges were 0-2 in their two biggest games of the season, going into another monumental game, this one against the undefeated Falcons. Skyridge jumped out to a 14-0 lead after the first quarter, but linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='406868' first='Owen' last='Borg'] and the rest of the Chargers defense tightened up, only allowing three points the rest of the game. Corner Canyon's offense came to life in the second quarter scoring 14 points. Chargers running back Drew Patterson punched in a late score to give Corner Canyon the win, 21-17.</p>

<p><strong>Bingham</strong> <strong>Miners</strong></p>

<p>The Miners got their season back on track with big wins over American Fork and Herriman. Their first challenging Region 3 game against Mountain Ridge. The Sestinas have been one of the toughest teams in the state and jumped out to an early lead, but Bingham continued to fight. Miners running back Carson Sudbury scored two touchdowns and had over 160 total yards. While linebacker Kaden McBride and the Bingham defense only allowed three points over the final three quarters. </p>

<p><strong>Brighton Bengals </strong></p>

<p>The Bengals suffered a disappointing week one loss but have since been dominant as they have run through team after team. The East Leopards were deceptive 3-3 entering this matchup and possess one of the best rushing attacks in the state. Instead, it was Bengals running back Kace Gurr who finished with over 130 yards and found the end zone twice. Defensively Jace Mathens added an interception as the Bengals stifled the Leopard's offense. </p>

<p><strong>Stansbury</strong> <strong>Stallions</strong></p>

<p>The Stallions offense continued to shine as they scored 46 points in their win over Cedar Valley. Quarterback Ezra Harris was outstanding, making plays with his legs and arm. Receivers Dylan Hamilton and Brock Wilson continued to create separation and made big plays in the passing game. On the ground, star running back [player_tooltip player_id='406862' first='Mateaki' last='Helu'] gashed the Aviators for significant gains in each quarter. Defensively the Stallions were once again strong, with defensive tackle Falanisi Vaka overwhelming the Cedar Valley offensive line. </p>
