Continue ReadingEven though the leaders in passing yards seem to shake up a little bit every single week, we also recognize that it is one of the more fun statistical categories to track due to the fact that the QB position is one that draws plenty of attention due to the level of detail that goes into playing the position. Look for the top passers on this list to continue to battle it out down the stretch, and to add on to various passing categories that generate personal, and team success. Feel free to refer back to previous weeks to see who has remained on this list, and who has not.
Sire Hardaway- Douglas County
Many fans would not have imagined this list to shape up the way it has so far. This is not a bad thing, as underrated passers, and prospects from various schools across the state have managed to rack up plenty of passing yards, while also getting their name out there in ways that they have not been able to do before. For example, Hardaway has already passed for around 982 yards for Douglas County entering into week 4 of the season, and he has also done so while averaging around 327 yards a game. With this, he has also thrown for a wonderful completion percentage of 71%, with 7 TD’s, and only 3 interceptions. Because the amount of yards his is throwing for is crazy, and because he has done so in only 84 attempts, we expect his numbers to continue to rise, putting him in place to continue to add on to a steady lead in passing yards entering mid season in a few weeks.
Jack Cendoya- Mount Pisgah Christian
While Mount Pisgah may be a little under the radar compared to a lot of the programs on this list, Jack Cendoya is not letting this stop him from shredding his competition through the air, as he has already thrown for 903 yards this year, with an average of 301 yards a game. In addition to this, he has also passed for a completion percentage of 67%. This is not the best part though, as he has also taken care of the football, which has been proven by the fact that he has thrown 9 TD’s, to 0 interceptions.

Jr.- Houston County
Out of Houston County, Hill has already put up lovely numbers in the span of 3 games as well. To this point of the season, he has averaged around 295 yards a game, and has totaled about 886 yards this season. He has also thrown with efficiency, and accuracy, as he has racked up a completion percentage of 74%. To continue to add to this, it should also be noted that Hill has also thrown for 8 TD’s, and 2 interceptions, proving that he can manage the game, and make good decisions.

Because we are still very high on Noland, we are also very excited to see how he has panned out in just 3 games for Langston Hughes this year. Not only has he been efficient, but he has been very productive numbers wise for his team. After 3 games, Noland has already thrown for 847 yards, and has racked up an average of around 282 yards a game. In addition to this, he has also completed 69% of his passes, and has thrown for 12 TD’s, and 0 interceptions. Impressive enough, he has also played with a solid stature, and a very mature understanding of the game. Expect him to continue to take this momentum into next week, and the rest of the season, keeping his name on this list, and taking his team to the playoffs.

has made a name for himself, and has proven that a QB from Lithia Springs can produce solid numbers against the productive defenses in which his team faces. At this point of the season, he has already totaled 765 yards in the air, with 6 TD’s. This has come in 3 games, and he enters into his next game with an average of around 255 yards a game, and a completion percentage of 52%. While there is certainly room for growth here, we also recognize that he has a long season ahead of him, with opportunities to add to these numbers, and clean up in various areas as well.
