Week 3 Top Performers

This list consists of the stats I have seen across the state since Thursday. It is some good ball being played already. Can't wait to see more this Friday. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>Omari Johnson, Wesson, ATH, 2026</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I cannot make one of these lists without putting his name on it. This kid has been phenomenal already this year. It surprises me to see him do the things he does. This kid is absolutely amazing. He will be a top prospect across the whole nation soon.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On Friday Omari rushed 13 times for 177 yards with 3 TDs. Yes he has been playing RB. This kid is doing it all. He is a player that you need to keep up with. He will be talked about a lot.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>Jarkea Reed, Leake Central, WR, 2023</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jarkea had 348 all purpose yards Friday. This guy knows how to make plays every time he steps on the field. Making plays is what he does. This last game he was making sure that his team got their first win against Philadelphia Friday. He put the team on his back.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jarkea is a 4.4 guy that gets up the field pretty fast. Most of his plays are quick plays where he can catch the ball and do some things with his feet. He has good ball skills and knows how to get open. We will see his name again.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>Semaj Knowles, DB, Louisville, 2024</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Semaj went from making big hits last week to catching interception this week. This kid is under the radar, but he is playing hard, determined to make a name for himself this year. Kid is one of the best DBs in his classification. He likes to hit, has good speed and has good ball skills. He is a player that you would want on your team. He is another 2025 QB that is excelling this year. This kid has a mean arm and knows how to win. He is a guy I can't wait to see play in a game. I like his style.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Friday he was 23/33 283 and 3TDs. He has been lighting it up like this all season. This kid is going to make a big name for himself this year. He had 16 tackles, 4tfl, and 1.5 sacks. The big guy is capable of games like this every time he touches the field. He is a big strong guy. He gets the job done every time he steps on the football field.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='340739' first='Omarion' last='Blakes'], ATH, McEvans, 2023</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He had 3 TDs, 125 rushing yards, 2 ints and 3 tackles. Kid is one of the best athletes the Delta and MS has ever seen. He has stats like this all the time. He will make a good player at the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
