MOC-FV: The Dutchmen come in off two close losses and are looking to find their footing as we head down the
final stretch of the season. The Warriors got their veteran starting QB back last week in senior Tyler
Smith and he had a nice coming out party leading the Warriors to a 28-6 road win over Sioux Center.
MOC FV: The Dutchmen rolled out to a 3-0 start and have since absorbed two difficult defeats including
a 42-yard FG with :05 seconds remaining on the road at LeMars and just last week with a 7-6 home
defeat at the hands of Bishop Heelan. The offense has been led by sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1282267' first='Blake' last='Aalbers'] who has
passed for (765) yards and (8) touchdowns and has rushed for (3) scores. A pair of seniors have come
through at RB including Ayden Klein (434) yards and (5) scores and Braden Konz (160) yards and 94)
touchdowns.

The key receivers for the Dutchmen include senior Simeon Bundt 6-1 (170) with (6) catches for (91)
yards and (2) scores. Senior Kael Arends (11) receptions for (117) yards, senior Kooper Huss (11) catches
for (206) with (3) touchdowns and senior Carson Jager (11) catches for (106) yards.
The defense has performed well with senior LB Sterling Haack leading the team in tackles with (23.0)
and (4.5) TFL. Junior linebacker Jaxson Mulder is close behind with (16.0) tackles and (4.0) TFL. Senior
cornerback Klein is solid in the secondary with (13.5) stops on the year.

SBL: The Warriors welcomed senior QB [player_tooltip player_id='104079' first='Tyler' last='Smith'] back to the huddle last Friday and players were able
to go back to their regular receiver roles as last week's offensive production showed flashes of last
season where the Warriors were hard to deal with on offense. Smith passed for (185) yards and rushed
for an additional (75) yards and one score. Sophomore standout RB [player_tooltip player_id='1529022' first='Zayvion' last='Ellington'] (83) carries on the
season for (315) yards and (6) touchdowns has been solid and will only benefit from the dual capabilities
of QB Smith.

The receiving corps is back in place as senior Scott Kroll (9) receptions for (108) yards returns to his
normal position at WR. Senior receiver [player_tooltip player_id='320661' first='Jake' last='Hamilton'] (18) receptions for (137) yards will likely see his
role expand as will senior Jacob Hoffman (10) catches for (99) yards. Ellington is a weapon out of the
backfield in the receiving game with (14) catches for (69) yards. The defense is led by two talented
seniors in linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='320662' first='Garrett' last='McHugh'] (25.5) tackles and DE [player_tooltip player_id='247881' first='Tylar' last='Lutgen'] (17.5) tackles and (5.5) TFL.
Junior Carter McCrory is performing well with (17.0) tackles and Hoffman at LB with (13.5) tackles.

ANALYSIS: This Warrior team feels different and plays differently on the field with Smith back under
center. This is a team looking to get on a roll and finish out the season strong and wrap up a playoff spot
to extend their season. The home crowd is in for a treat as this is homecoming week and October 1
begins at straight up midnight. Look for another great defensive effort and Ellington races to the end-
zone at least twice.

KICKOFF: 7:00 PM
WOLVES: The Wolves are coming in with two consecutive victories and have improved to (2-3) overall
on the season. Senior QB [player_tooltip player_id='294444' first='Sam' last='Johnson'] has passed for (471) yards and (4) touchdowns to go with (2)
interceptions. Johnson has done much of his damage on the ground with (340) yards rushing averaging
(5.5) yards per carry and (6) touchdowns. The other main contributor on the ground is senior RB Brady
Grisham (319) yards and (2) touchdowns. The receiving options for Johnson include RB Grisham with (8)
receptions for (138) yards and senior WR Cooper Chiafos (7) catches for (111) and (2) scores. Senior WR
[player_tooltip player_id='320723' first='Jackson' last='Adams'] (4) catches for (106) yards is also a solid contributor. The Wolves defense does not make
many plays in the opposing backfield but do rely on senior Logan Stotts (17.0) tackles and senior LB
Owen Klunder (27.0) tackles. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='320722' first='Grant' last='Macke'] has racked up (18.0) stops from the defensive
secondary.

BLACK RAIDERS: The Black Raiders of head coach Mike Winklepleck are coming off their only defeat of
the season but played well against a very good team in Ankeny Centennial last Friday on the road. Senior
QB [player_tooltip player_id='300098' first='Cole' last='Ritchie'] is having an outstanding season having thrown for (1,383) yards and (9) touchdowns.
Senior RB's [player_tooltip player_id='24025' first='Brady' last='Wavrunek'] (237) rushing yards and (8) touchdowns and [player_tooltip player_id='203402' first='Brecken' last='Schossow'] (131) yards
on the ground and (6) scores. The fleet of receivers include senior [player_tooltip player_id='152853' first='Kelynn' last='Jacobsen'] (39) receptions for
(546) yards and (3) touchdowns. Senior WR Preston Dobbs is having a nice season with (15) catches for
(148) yards. Senior WR Destiny Adams checks in with (11) catches for (119) yards and a score.
The Black Raider defense has been steady all season and it starts on the defensive line with senior DE
[player_tooltip player_id='105144' first='Nick' last='Wells'] (45.5) tackles and (16.5) TFL and inside at DT is [player_tooltip player_id='247875' first='Cale' last='Pittenger'] (33.0) tackles and (14.5) TFL
who plays with a great motor are leaders. Linebacker Wavrunek (47.5) tackles and (7.0) TFL continues to
make plays at MLB. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='203402' first='Brecken' last='Schossow'] has made (27.5) tackles and senior cornerback Carter
Reekers has chipped in (21.5) stops from the secondary.

ANALYSIS: This Black Raider team should feast defensively this Friday night. The Wolves have a
pedestrian passing game and I look for the defensive front for the Black Raiders to set the tone early.
The Black Raiders have (56) TFL, and the Wolves defense has only accumulated (21.5) TFL. I see a miss-
match at the line of scrimmage and look for the Black Raiders to win on the road this Friday night! Big
nights coming for Wells and Pittenger defensively.
