West Jordan at Mountain Ridge
The Jaguars and Sentinels come into this Region 3 matchup with five wins apiece. West Jordan's intimidating defense will look to slow down the potent Mountain Ridge rushing attack. The Jaguars and Sentinals have both scored over 30 points in four of their seven games. These two teams are hungry for the Region 3 crown, and it will be thrilling to see who gets the win. Look for Sentinels linebacker Taylor Higham and running back Daitrez Johnson to make plays all night.

Skyridge at Lone Peak
The Falcons and Knights will both be coming into this one trying to get back on the winning path. The Falcons suffered their first loss of the season after losing to Corner Canyon 21-17. The Knights lost to their region rival American Fork 17-14 after struggling to score in the second half. Lone Peak is 0-2 in their biggest games of the season, while Skyridge was widely considered the best team in the state until last Friday's loss. Tight end [player_tooltip player_id='406891' first='Max' last='Bateman'] and the Knights' offense will look to move the ball on linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='406870' first='Sione' last='Westover'] and the Falcons' defense.

Park City at Brighton
The top two teams in Region 6 face off this Friday. Brighton and Park City are both 6-1, and each has the opportunity to set themselves up nicely for a high speed in the 5A state tournament. Both teams have scored over 195 points and can attack a defense in multiple ways. Linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='406955' first='Blake' last='Tabaracci'] and the Miners' defense have only given up 74 points on the season. On the other side of the ball, running back Mason Grover and the Bengals offense will be the toughest test Park City's defense has played yet.

Timpview at Orem
The Thunderbirds and Tigers face off in a battle of 5A powerhouses. In a weird occurance, Timpview and Orem's previous two games came against the Alta Hawks. Both teams won by double figures and roll into this game with some late-season momentum. After a tough start, Orem has gotten back on track with two straight wins. The Thunderbirds have won five games by more than 19 points with a dominant defense and offense. Running back [player_tooltip player_id='406949' first='Micah' last='Beckstead'] and the Thunderbirds will look to get another big win, but Orem linebacker Tim To'a and the Tigers defense will try to hold them in check.
