Malik Holmes
Holmes was a 1st Team All State selection last season offense and defense, and was named Region A Defensive Player of the Year. He finished the season with 2,120 All Purpose Yards, 27 Touchdowns, 100 Tackles, and 7 Interceptions. He is already off to a great start as one of the top passers in the state. He has gone 19 for 23, threw for 337 yards, completed 82% percent of his passes for 12 touchdowns, doesn’t have interceptions, and a Quarterback Rating of 163.
Gabriel Wansart
Gabriel Wansart
Wansart was named 1st Team All TCIS as a Quarterback last season. In the 1st game of this season, he started with a phenomenal performance throwing for 474 yards, completing 21 of his 32 passes, and throwing for 6 touchdowns. He has continue to perform well and after week 3 he leads as one of the top passers in the state. He has completed 40 of his 59 passing attempts, giving him a completion percentage of 68 percent, thrown for a total 786 yards, 9 touchdowns without any interceptions, and a Passer Rating of 150.
Drake Morris
Drake Morris
Morris is another QB who has started off the season on a hot streak. He started off the season throwing for 360 yards and 6 touchdowns in a 41 to 14 victory over defending VISAA Division III Champion. Last season, Morris threw for 17 touchdowns in a Wing T offense, but due to a recent coaching change the junior QB really gets to showcase his talent in a spread offense. He’s already completed 53 of his 82 passing attempts, for 65 percent, threw for 841 yards, 15 touchdowns, 2 interceptions, and a QBR of 128.rn
White finish last season as a 1st Team All Region 4D and Seminole District Quarterback. He started of the end of the summer announcing his commitment to William and Mary, and has continued leading the state as one of the top performing Quarterbacks thus far. He has gone 34 for 55, leaving him with a completion percentage of 62%, 489 passing yards, 10 passing touchdowns, 1 interception, and a QBR of 123.
Highlights
Boykin, who is only a Sophomore, has led The Potomac School to a 2-0 start. Week 1 he started off completed 14 of his 20 passing attempts for 236 yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and 1 rushing touchdown. Week 2 he went 7 for 10, had 157 passing yards, and 3 touchdowns. For the season, his totals are 21/ 30, 393, 70%, 6td, 0 int, and a 144 QBR.
