Look for their recruiting stock to rise if they continue on this trajectory throughout the 2022 season. With that being said, here’s who you need to know!
Jacobe Hayes, 5’10” 160, Mansfield
- Speed causes serious issues on reroutes for apex defenders or rolled-up safeties.
- Can blow the top off a defense.
- Has some power to burst through contact and keep on his way.
- Is rarely brought down by the first tackle attempt.
Tyler Madison, 5’9″ 160, Mansfield Timberview
- Get the ball in his hands and let him go to work.
- Can run away from defenders that have an angle on him.
- Eyes are well trained for deep ball tracking.
- Has the body control to adjust on poorly thrown balls.
Tanook Hines Tanook Hines 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR Spring Dekaney | 2025 State TX , 6’1″ 160, Dekaney
- Sure, hands through traffic.
- Is quite springy and will snatch the 50/50 ball in the red area.
- Has a tendency to get lost in a corner’s blind spot.
- Catches everything within the framework of his body.
Talan Holmes, 6’2″ 165, Eaton
- Will lull corners and safeties to sleep before running right by them.
- Has shown the ability to make tough contested catches downfield.
- Easily rolls the neck and adjusts to go balls put on the outside shoulder.
- Keeps his wheels churning and fights for lockout as a blocker.
Isaiah Robertson, 6′ 185, Arlington
- Can step on a defender’s toes quickly.
- Is a game breaker as a kick returner with fantastic vision.
- Uses his hands well to defeat press coverage.
- Build up speed leads to plenty of separation on vertical shot plays.
Cole Allen, 5’10” 180, St. John’s
- Cuts are distinct yet look so effortless.
- Can line up in the backfield and carry the football between the tackles.
- Is a nasty blocker out on the perimeter.
- A playmaking machine that will do whatever he’s asked to help his team win.
Jaquise Martin Jaquise Martin 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR Rudder | 2025 State TX , 6′ 190, Rudder
- Shows terrific balance through contact.
- He knows how to set up a DB, get him to open up his hips and stick his foot in the dirt & come right underneath him.
- Has a ferocious running style after the catch that can lead to a ton of YAC.
- Proven that he can create chunk plays working all three parts of the field.
Brady Janusek, 6’3″ 190, Liberty Christian
- Production is off the charts this fall, already totaling 617 yards receiving and ten total touchdowns.
- Size allows him to box out smaller defenders.
- Quite powerful as a runner on the outside.
- Is a natural hands catcher who shoots his paws late to ensure a defender can’t make a play on him.
