Ezra Harris || QB || 6’1 || 195 ||Stansburry High School || 2023
Harris has been electric for the Stallions all season, which continued last Friday night. The 6’1 quarterback had thee on the ground and two through the air. Harris is one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the state because of his ability to beat the defense in many ways. He possesses good deep ball accuracy and does a good job scrambling for yards when plays break down. Harris also shines on designed quarterback runs where he evades tackles with ease. The Stallions will likely lead the state in total points for the 2022 regular season, and Harris’ abilities are one of the main reasons why.
Carson Sudbury || WR || 5’10 || 180 || Bingham High School || 2024
Sudbury is one of the most versatile players in the state. The 5’10 wide receiver possesses elite footwork and vision, making him effective whenever he gets the ball. He had his best game of the season in a significant Region 3 showdown against the Mountain Ridge Sentinels. Sudbury had a season-high 109 receiving yards while also chipping in 59 yards on the ground. Sudbury possesses good acceleration and makes defenders look silly in open space. In addition, he is tough in between the tackles while also running crisp routes on the outside.
Kingston Mickens || WR || 6’0 || 160 || Viewomount High School || 2025
Mickens had himself a game on Friday where he exploded for five catches, 133 yards, and two touchdowns. The 6’0 receiver may only be a sophomore but runs routes like an experienced senior. He also runs track and displays that elite speed on the field. Mickens does a good job tracking and adjusting to the ball in the air. In addition, he is tough to bring down in the open field and can stop or change directions at the drop of a dime. At just 15 years old, Mickens could grow into one of the top receivers in the 2025 class.
Drew Peterson || RB || 5’11 || 195 || Corner Canyon High School || 2023
Yards were not easy to come by in the Chargers game vs. Skyridge. Despite the physicality of the Falcon’s front seven, Patterson was able to succeed on the ground, where he scored two touchdowns. Patterson is as tough of a back as you will find in the state. The 5’11 back also plays linebacker, throwing his body around on both sides of the ball all night long. Patterson has an elite stiff arm and always fights for extra yards. He possesses good vision and remains patient behind his blockers leading to those crucial extra yards.
