[player_tooltip player_id='406868' first='Owen' last='Borg'] || LB || 6'2 || 190 || Corner Canyon High School || 2024

Borg has been the heart of the Charger's defense all season and came up huge for them in their biggest win of the season. Borg had two interceptions in the Corner Canyons' narrow victory over Skyridge. The 6'2 linebacker does a great job reading opposing quarterbacks' eyes and plays the ball in the air well. In addition, Borg does a great job sifting through offensive linemen to find the football. He finished the game with eight total tackles and two tackles for loss. Offenses try to game plan to slow Borg, but he always seems to find a way to leave a lasting impact in each game.

Zion Andreasen || DL || 6'4 || 230 || East High School || 2023

East may have struggled against Brighton, but Andreasen feasted. The 6'4 defensive linemen exploded for four sacks as he constantly applied pressure in the Bengals backfield. Andreasen's size and length make him a nightmare for opposing offensive linemen to deal with. He does a great job in the run game, standing up offensive linemen before tossing them aside for big plays. Andreasen is a good athlete who is heating up with seven sacks in his last two games.

[player_tooltip player_id='406962' first='Easton' last='Baker'] || LB || 6'0 || 204 || Stansbury High School || 2024

The Stallion's offense gets a lot of love, but their defense has also been outstanding and no one exemplifies that more than Baker. Stansbury's leader in tackles has a nose for the football. The 6'1 linebacker lays the wood on every tackle and always seems to be involved in the game's biggest plays in one way or another. He displays impressive physicality when meeting ball carries in the whole and has the sideline-to-sideline quickness to reach the edge. In addition, Baker also does an excellent job in coverage, whether sitting in zone or staying with pass catchers in man.

Treg Miller || DB || 6'1 || 165 || Emery High School || 2023

Miller shines in the secondary, where he flies across the field. 5'10 safety had two interceptions in Emery's win over Judge Memorial. Miller does a great job reading and reacting to quarterbacks allowing him to lock down the back end of the field. He rarely misses a tackle as the last line of Emery's defense and has hands that defy the typical stereotype of defensive players. Miller can also come down and cover pass catchers and excel as a versatile chess piece on the field.
