Fano is the top offensive linemen in the class of 2023 and showed why Friday night at Bingham. The 6’5 offensive tackle routinely drove defenders 10 yards away from the ball and racked up Pancakes like he was at IHOP. One of the reasons Timpview’s offensive line is so potent is Fano’s ability to open holes and take out multiple defenders in a single play. In addition, he is a fantastic athlete capable of making blocks downfield and in space. Fano is also stellar in pass protection, where he does a great job cutting off defenders with his feet and packs a strong punch. Timpview has been dominant this season b because of Fano and the rest of the Thunderbird’s offensive line providing the offense the necessary time needed to mkake plays.
Nic Staffieri || QB || 6’2 || 195 || Pleasant Grove High School || 2023
Wasatch jumped off to a 17-0 lead vs. Pleasant Grove, but the Vikings, specifically Staffieri, didn’t blink. Over the next two quarters, the Vikings scored 42 points, with Staffieri leading the offense and tossing four touchdowns in the 58-20 win. The 6’2 quarterback understands how to manipulate a defense with his legs, faking like he is going to run before dropping dimes to his receivers. In addition, Staffieri excels at escaping the pocket and throwing on the move. He has already thrown for over 1,200 yards this season, and 13 touchdowns, with more surely on the way as the Viking’s offenses continues to surge.

Kalama has been a welcome addition to the Falcon’s offense in 2022. The 5’11 receiver has 230 receiving yards and had his first game with two touchdowns Friday vs. Orem. Kalama is a shifty athlete who makes defenders look silly in space. He possesses fantastic body control and footwork. Kalama can stop on a dime, and he’s a technician regarding route running. In addition, the Falcons love to move him around, making it difficult for defenses to key in on him. All these skills also make Kalama an exceptional returner, where he routinely sets up Skyridge with excellent field position.
Joshua Buck || RB || 5’11 || 195 || Spanish Fork High School || 2023
Buck is currently second in the state in rushing yards with 420 and helped lead the Dons to an impressive win over Deseret Hills on Friday, 26-13. In that game, Buck rushed for over 200 yards and scored two touchdowns showing off his ability to dominate a game. Buck runs hard, breaks through tacklers, and punishes defenders on nearly every carry. He remains patient in the hole and does a good job following his blockers, waiting for running lanes to materialize, and once they do, he bursts through them with good speed. In addition, Buck excels at running inside or out and uses his quickness to make defenders miss.
