The following players all shined bright on offense, and they each delivered spectacular performances which showcased their skills successfully. Now, let's take a closer look at each player's performance.

2024 5'10 200 RB - Da'Jaun Riggs - St. John's

[player_tooltip player_id='264194' first='Da'juan' last='Riggs'] scorched the Central (MA) high school football team this past weekend with 123 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns on 14 carries. He delivered one of the most efficient and productive running back performances we've seen fo far this year, and Riggs' efforts also led St. John's to victory 41-24 over Central. With such a dynamic dual-threat quarterback in Myles Slade under center for St. John's, it has been difficult for a clear RB1 to emerge for the Cadets. However, [player_tooltip player_id='264194' first='Da'juan' last='Riggs'] may have just clarified things for us with his immaculate performance on Saturday. Riggs is absolutely a top tier running back in the 2024 class, and, at this rate, he will absolutely earn All-WCAC honors yet again this season. [player_tooltip player_id='264194' first='Da'juan' last='Riggs'] and the Cadets kickoff again this Saturday @2PM Eastern time versus Cedar Grove.

Highlights: https://www.hudl.com/profile/14483127/DaJaun-Riggs/about

2024 6'5 175 QB - [player_tooltip player_id='249086' first='Frankie' last='Weaver'] - Good Counsel

[player_tooltip player_id='249086' first='Frankie' last='Weaver'] delivered a very solid performance against Mount St. Mary's, and he finished the game with a 100.3 QBR. With 10/19 passing and 2 touchdowns, Weaver delivered a win for the Falcons, and he established that he is still one of the elite quarterbacks in the WCAC. [player_tooltip player_id='249086' first='Frankie' last='Weaver'] rarely makes mistakes, and he has shown us game after game that he possesses mature decision-making. Watch [player_tooltip player_id='249086' first='Frankie' last='Weaver'] and Good Counsel again tonight as they suit-up against Life Christian Academy (VA)under the Friday night lights @7PM Eastern.

Highlights: https://t.co/OreTTBPi97

2024 6'0 180 RB - [player_tooltip player_id='249102' first='Dilin' last='Jones'] - Good Counsel

[player_tooltip player_id='249102' first='Dilin' last='Jones'] continues to absolutely dominate in every single game he plays, and, at this point, it isn't even surprising when he rushes for more than one hundred yards and a few touchdowns. Jones did just that against Mount St. Mary's this month, and he completely ran through them for 149 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 11 carries. That rounds out to a staggering average of 13.5 yards per carry, which now makes it even more clear just how dominant [player_tooltip player_id='249102' first='Dilin' last='Jones']' performance was in Good Counsel's 52-13 victory against MTSMS. There's no question that [player_tooltip player_id='249102' first='Dilin' last='Jones'] is the top RB1 in the WCAC at this moment, and he and Good Counsel face Life Christian Academy (VA) tonight @7PM Eastern in a primetime DMV powerhouse showdown.

Highlights: https://t.co/bWBcwelLmw

2025 5'11 180 RB – [player_tooltip player_id='218627' first='Peyton' last='Nelson'] - Good Counsel

Peyton "Pey Pey" Nelson is arguably the overall breakout player of the year in the DMV, and he's most certainly the top running back in the 2025 class. As just a Sophomore, [player_tooltip player_id='218627' first='Peyton' last='Nelson'] is posting the same type of numbers as his backfield counterpart [player_tooltip player_id='249102' first='Dilin' last='Jones'], and he is showing us that there's more than one type of efficient running style. Nelson is also a phenomenal pass catcher, especially out of the backfield, and he even lines up in the slot sometimes as a pure receiver. In Good Counsel's 52-13 win, Nelson ran for 102 yards and 2 touchdowns, and there's now simply no denying that Good Counsel has the #1 backfield in the entire DMV. Watch [player_tooltip player_id='218627' first='Peyton' last='Nelson'] and the Falcons tonight as they face Life Christian Academy in a DMV showdown @7PM Eastern in Olney, MD.

Highlights: https://twitter.com/RealChadRicardo/status/1570926574496780290?s=20&t=267ec6n4g9AQ5utEUUGqWw

2024 6'4 190 WR - [player_tooltip player_id='172212' first='Elijah' last='Moore'] - Good Counsel

There are only a few receivers in the 2024 class that are as productive as [player_tooltip player_id='172212' first='Elijah' last='Moore'] of Good Counsel. Moore has been the back bone of this Falcon's receiving corps for some time now, and that fact did not change at all against Mount St. Mary's. Moore hauled in 3 receptions for about 40 yards and 1 touchdown. He maintained his consistent dominance, and he was a fundamental part of Good Counsel's runaway victory. Watch [player_tooltip player_id='172212' first='Elijah' last='Moore'] tonight against LCA @7PM Eastern time at home in Olney, MD.

Highlights: https://twitter.com/D1Factory/status/1574203884817432576?s=20&t=267ec6n4g9AQ5utEUUGqWw

2023 6'1 190 QB - [player_tooltip player_id='90654' first='Carson' last='Petitbon'] - St. Mary's

[player_tooltip player_id='90654' first='Carson' last='Petitbon'] has proven that he's the comeback player of the year in the DMV, and he has truly resurrected his high school football career since his transfer from Gonzaga to St. Mary's (MD). Petitbon and the Saints are still undefeated, and they're coming off of a two touchdown victory against John Carroll as they prepare for tonight's game against Boy's Latin. Against John Carroll, Petitbon only attempted seven passes, but, as St. Mary's committed to the run early, he ran the ball 16 times for 136 yards and 2 touchdowns. It's extremely evident that Petitbon is far more comfortable running the Army/Navy run-heavy style of offense that St. Mary's put in place, as opposed to his prior offense at Gonzaga which is far more pass oriented. What an incredible success story for [player_tooltip player_id='90654' first='Carson' last='Petitbon'], and he will look to add on to it tonight versus Boy's Latin as St. Mary's looks to stay unbeaten.

Highlights: https://t.co/iBbUxrS9Zr

2023 6'1 180 CB/WR - [player_tooltip player_id='90659' first='Gerald' last='Campbell'] - DeMatha

If you're looking for a two-way player who exerts maximum effort on every play and possesses off the charts athleticism then look no further than [player_tooltip player_id='90659' first='Gerald' last='Campbell']. Campbell is performing at an extremely high level so far this season, and it's very clear that he was dedicated to football during the offseason. Campbell hauled in the first touchdown of the game over the weekend for the Stags against LCA. It was a 75 yard pass from [player_tooltip player_id='250315' first='Denzel' last='Gardner'] that Campbell secured to give DeMatha an early 7-0 lead which extended to halftime. [player_tooltip player_id='90659' first='Gerald' last='Campbell'] also showcased his lockdown defensive skills against LCA, and his efforts were a huge factor in the Stags' defense securing the shutout. [player_tooltip player_id='90659' first='Gerald' last='Campbell'] and the Stags are in premier position to compete for a WCAC championship this year, and they play, arguably, their most important game of the season so far in their conference opener next Saturday against Gonzaga @7PM Eastern in Washington, D.C.

Highlights: https://t.co/hpsgYnbY8x

2023 5'11 190 RB - [player_tooltip player_id='90681' first='Brendon' last='Wyatt'] - DeMatha

[player_tooltip player_id='90681' first='Brendon' last='Wyatt'] played one of his best games of the season, so far, against Life Christian Academy, and he broke free for multiple runs of twenty five yards or more. Wyatt scored the second touchdown of the day for the Stags on an incredible 35 yard touchdown run that put DeMatha up by a score of 14-0. Wyatt racked up yards all game against LCA, and, combined with [player_tooltip player_id='371280' first='Tovani' last='Mizell'] and Bud Coombs, it' clear that DeMatha's backfield can compete with any other backfield in the WCAC. [player_tooltip player_id='90681' first='Brendon' last='Wyatt'] and the Stags take on their long time conference rivals in the Gonzaga Purple Eagles next weekend in Washington, D.C. @7PM Eastern.

Highlights: https://t.co/Pkr2sB76Xy

2023 6'0 185 WR - Jalen McDonald - Gonzaga

Jalen McDonald continues to deliver as Gonzaga's #1 option at receiver, and, even though the Purple Eagles were not victorious, McDonald still managed to post solid numbers on the day. McDonald hauled in 4 passes for 52 yards and 1 touchdown, and he hauled in a 38 yard pass on the score. McDonald's chemistry with Gonzaga's 2024 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='264054' first='Aidan' last='Conrath'] has improved with every game, and there's no doubt in my mind that this dynamic duo will continue to make plays as the season moves forward. McDonald and the Purple Eagles look to bounce-back into the win column again tonight @7PM Eastern against FCA (D.C.).

Highlights: https://t.co/qbOcuL3l6D

The following players all shined bright on offense, and they each delivered spectacular performances which showcased their skills successfully. Now, let's take a closer look at each player's performance.
