[player_tooltip player_id='56579' first='Riley' last='Rothschadl'] - QB/ST, Bon Homme

Rothschadl was an offensive weapon that was not like any other last week, and he did that in one of the most unique stat lines that I have seen in a good while. On the true offensive front, he had added a passing touchdown and two rushing touchdowns in his offensive output that led his team all night as they looked to him as the main guy on their offense. Now, where we saw Rothschadl go off on in this game was what he did on the ends of the special teams and while it is not technically offensive, I have chosen to clump it in here. What Rothschadl is something that most kick and punt returns dream of doing in the time when they play, not only did he tally a kick return of a touchdown and he also had a punt return for a touchdown. While most players would be happy to have either one of these throughout their career, Rothschadl had both of them in the one game, making his overall performance at the top of the list for those who played great last week.

Tayton Snyder - QB, Sioux Falls Chrisitan

Sioux Falls Christian has been hitting their rhythm as of late and that is in no small part to how great their offensive unit has been these past few weeks. A large part of their team taking and igniting as a whole is their ever-talented QB who showed us last week why he is so good when you put the pig skin in his hands. He put on a great offensive show of force in the passing show that he put with him going a total of 13-24 and having 322 yards with him airing the ball out in the air and doing it in great fashion. When watching the tape of the game, I saw how in sync he was with all of the players on the offense with him, not just skill players but also his offensive lineman who he was great in tandem. He also had 3 passing touchdowns on the night and truly showed how well he can pass the ball. Snyder was a critical piece for his team and will be doing it as the year continues to chug along.

Quinston Luellman - RB/WR, Huron

Luellman was a beast on the ground for Huron who had some rain issues during their last week but mother nature was not enough to stop Luellman and the show that he had put on. Luellman had been a rushing force last week and he was simply overpowering anyone who tried to tackle him and he did that by breaking most of them that were thrown at them. Outside of the numbers that we see pop up on the box score, he laid down some blocks when he needed to and helped his team any chance that he got. In the offensive sense, he showed out with a total of 15 carries racking up a total of 235 rushing yards along the way, and had big runs that he went off for throughout the game. He added on a total of two rushing touchdowns which was the main driving force for the Huron offense that had come out of their game on Friday. Luellman truly showed us why you should not be sleeping on his name and due to his rushing attack and just sheer dominance that he had, made him my South Dakota Offensive Player of the Week is the key piece in his team's close victory last Friday.

Trytan Tryon - WR, Harrisburg

Tryon was a machine in his performance last week and he threw his hat in the ring as one of the best receivers in South Dakota. While he did not tally the most yards it was nothing that you should scoff at with the total yards receiving he had being a total of 122 yards. He did this on a total of 10 catches which gives him a great average of yards per catch throughout the entire game. But what he did do was be a scoring machine and what he did that with was 4 total receiving touchdowns. He was in lockstep with his QB who had a great night of his own he was the main target that night and he showed us what he does when he gets the ball in his hands. Tryon was on another level with his ability to get passes into and having scored so much with a smile on his face is something you love to see in young and talented receivers.
