Football has become a passing game. Having a quarterback who is talented, confident and poised is essential. Today, we will spend some time looking at the QBs who are having torrid seasons so far.

[player_tooltip player_id='284228' first='Jayden' last='Whitaker'], 6'3, 170 pounds, Senior, Brownsburg

[player_tooltip player_id='284228' first='Jayden' last='Whitaker'] has been crucial to the success that Brownsburg has had this season. A little over halfway through the regular season, Whitaker has thrown for 1,438 yards. Whitaker has been extremely efficient, completing 107 of his 147 pass attempts. Whitaker has thrown 11 touchdowns while protecting the football. He has only thrown three picks this year. The Senior has added 301 rushing yards and half-a-dozen yards on the ground. Brownsburg are a force to be reckoned with this season. If [player_tooltip player_id='284228' first='Jayden' last='Whitaker'] keeps up this pace, the Bulldogs could be set for a deep run in the state tournament.

Zac Horn, 6'3, 195 pounds, Senior, Columbus North

Zac Horn has led the Columbus North offense with precision this year, and they have routinely found the end zone. Horn has amassed an impressive 17 touchdown passes and just five interceptions. Horn has completed two-thirds of his passes this year. The senior has racked up 1,563 yards through the air with an additional 46 rushing yards. Zac Horn is a prospect that teams need to pay attention to as this season goes along.

Braxton Birner, 5'9, 150 pounds, Junior, Maconaquah

Braxton Birner has started the second half of his high school career with a bang. The Maconaquah star has been dependable all year. Birner has gone 144/205 through the air. Briner has kept the offense moving all year. He has thrown for 1,712 yards with 20 touchdowns. The fact he has only thrown five interceptions means that he has a four to one touchdown-to-interception ration going. Birner is averaging 285.3 passing yards per contest.

Cooper Simmons-Little, 6'1, 175 pounds, Senior, Traders Point Christian

Cooper Simmons-Little has been dominant in his senior campaign. Simmons-Little has tossed and outstanding 22 touchdowns so far. One could argue the fact he has only thrown a pair of interceptions is even more impressive. Simmons-Little has thrown 187 passes and found the mark on 117 of them. He has compiled 1,726 passing yards. Teams that have not looked at Cooper Simmons-Little need to get him on their radars.

Jackson Willis, 6'2, 182 pounds, Sophomore, Indianapolis Lutheran

Jackson Willis is only a sophomore, but he does not play like it. Willis plays like a quarterback who has been at it for several years. Willis has completed 96 of 141 passes. Those 96 completions have brought about a total of 1,848 yards. Willis has 23 touchdowns passes and only three interceptions to his name. On average, Willis is throwing for 308 yards per game. The future is incredibly bright for Jackson Willis. Now is the time for teams to take note.

Football has become a passing game. Having a quarterback who is talented, confident and poised is essential. Today, we will spend some time looking at the QBs who are having torrid seasons so far.
