We have seen some good QBs in MS already this season. The culture of being a QB has risen here since a new wave of QB coaching has been introduced. Guys are learning to be a true gunslinger and we love to see it. Here are a few guys off to a good start.

[player_tooltip player_id='344100' first='Jeremiah' last='Harrell'], Tupelo, 2024

Jeremiah has started this season off in great fashion. He is over 500 yards in their first two weeks of play. After the first half of football during opening week he was 11/11 with 158 passing yards. The guy knows how to get the rock to his receivers. The two secondaries he has done this against are a good group. Jeremiah is standing very tall when he is in the pocket. He is playing with a lot of confidence and he is part of the reason his team is undefeated. I can't wait to see what he plays like when their division time kicks in.

[player_tooltip player_id='277806' first='Raheem' last='Vance'], Olive Branch, 2024

Raheem is over in Olive Branch giving that team some hope. He too has accumulated for around 500 yards this season. He is a guy many don't know about, but is worthy of a conversation. His mechanics are there too. Kid knows how to keep the chains moving. He throws a pretty spiral and is a part of the reason his team is undefeated. This week they face off against Starkville. We will get to see exactly where he is during this game.

[player_tooltip player_id='350920' first='Jay' last='Beamon'], Cleveland Central, 2025

Here is another guy in that 2025 class that has kicked off a great start to his season. This guy has been working with Wyatt Davis and you can see how he has molded into a nice QB. Jay is a true pocket passer that can make any throw on the field. His approach to the game has been mature since his first snap. It is easy to see that he is very comfortable. He throws the 15 yard comeback with ease. This guy has a super high ceiling.

[player_tooltip player_id='306335' first='Emile' last='Picarella'], St. Joe Catholic School, 2025

We all knew that Emile would come in doing his thing. This QB needs no introduction. He has started off this season very hot. Will be closing in on a thousand yards soon. He is helping his team have a great start. More offers will continue to roll in for the young sophomore. His production is there again this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='159398' first='Silas' last='Corder'], Pascagoula, 2025

This young man has jumped off to a good start himself. He is helping his team do some big things behind that explosive offense and funky defense they have. I'm ready to watch Silas throughout his career and see how he progresses. I think he has a chance to be a good QB. We'll be sure to keep our eyes on him.

Brayson Hubbard, Ocean Springs, 2023

Yes, I know that Bray is going to college to be a safety. However at this point he is a QB. The man is already lighting it up on the field. In one game he had 100 yard rushing at half-time. This kid is an amazing athlete. He is still getting it done with his arm. When he was recruited to play positions other than QB we all seen that coming. He was always making moves with his legs. He still is, but he is making plays with his arm too. He still can get the football to his receivers.

[player_tooltip player_id='350918' first='Deuce' last='Knight'], George Co, 2025

Another 2025 QB that has made a great name for himself if Deuce. This guy is a nice lefty who holds the fort down for his team. Deuce has a lot of athleticism and he has been looking real good in the pocket. He also moves with the football very well. This is going to be a big year for him as well.

We have seen some good QBs in MS already this season. The culture of being a QB has risen here since a new wave of QB coaching has been introduced. Guys are learning to be a true gunslinger and we love to see it. Here are a few guys off to a good start.
