I have been following Silas Corder Silas Corder 6'1" | 210 lbs | QB Pascagoula | 2025 State MS for a minute now and his recruitment is starting to take off, at the right time if I may add. The 2025 QB prospect was able to put some impressive things on tape in his Sophomore season and he is just getting started. Silas sees the field well, has polished footwork and mechanics in the pocket, and he can just about make any throw that he wants, which is rare at his age. He is able to effectively get through his progressions due to his fast processor, quick release, and timely decision making. Here recently Silas has been invited to camps and workouts to showcase his arm talent. Silas possesses the athletic and mental capabilities that most coaches want from their QB1. Miami (OH), Nichols State, Furman University, Kansas State, Eastern Kentucky, and several other programs are looking to connect with Silas and have invited him to their campus’s. Corder is also set to visit and attend a Spring practice at Ole Miss next week as well. I predict that Silas will get the attention he deserves this off-season, and follow up with performances to back it up this Summer and Fall. Book it.

Corder took the majority of the snaps last year for Pascagoula, and that experience eases his adjustment in terms what he will see on a weekly basis. Silas is a young QB that has a quick processor and he sees the field with an impressive calmness. His feet and mechanics are both polished and they assist him making timely decisions and plays when under pressure. Corder’s quick processor and exceptional arm talent allow him to spread the ball around effectively. I was most impressed by Silas’ quick release and how accurate he is when throwing the ball. Whether there were throw’s to be made in tight windows, leading a receiver, or over a defender, Corder believes in himself and what he see’s to be able to complete the pass. Corder will be a vital part of Pascagoula’s success and make a name for himself in his Junior campaign

Corder has displayed some next level decision making skills which allowed for his team to win multiple contests and be competitive against some notable programs. Silas should continue to improve with every season which in turn increases his ability and production. His trajectory is quite promising. I do recommend watching him as he plays these next few seasons.

Silas is described by many as a pro style QB. For a young gunslinger Corder has excellent size and ability. He stands at 6-0 195 and has proven that he can make tough throws with consistency. Corder threw for over 1,240 yards and helped the panthers compete against multiple top 20 Teams in the state.
