With that being said, we’re going to be taking a look at new names on the horizon based on film that I was either send via DM or tagged on Twitter. The mission has always been the same, being a resource to these high school athletes and covering as many young men as possible no matter the college-level projection (D1, D2, NAIA, D3, JUCO). With that being said, let’s take a look at part four of my names on the horizon.

Mr. Dodd’s ability to use his jump cuts to get in/out of holes quickly and make defenders miss in open space are one to keep an eye on the rest of this fall season. Throughout his highlights below, you can see his shiftiness style of running whether that’s in the ground game or in the air attack. In the ground game, he uses his vision to find running lanes quickly between the tackles and once he gets through he flashes his ability to break long runs once he makes the first defender miss. What’s equally as impressive is the threat he poses in the air attack catching out of the backfield. This young man currently doesn’t have any offers under his belt but man he’s posting incredible numbers week in and week out so far this season. If I were a college coach, I would keep tabs on this young man the rest of this fall season and get him on your radar. Twitter
Highlights
Ethan Kohl
Ethan Kohl
Mr. Kohl got the starting nod at QB for the Boilermakers this season after standout Caige Williams graduated and headed out to the next level. What stands out the most about this young man is his ability to stand strong in the pocket to get the ball off under pressure right before he takes a hit from the defender. He also flashes his ability to put the ball into the receiver’s basket on deep shots downfield in double coverage which is one to keep an eye on for the rest of this fall season. What I’m interested to see more of is his foot quicks and ability to use his legs to keep the chains moving. There’s a clip below where he does just that flashing his foot quicks to pick up the first down once he gets flushed from the pocket. It’s this type of ability to extend plays that can continue to keep the Boilermakers in close games and can give them the edge late in games. All in all, expect this young man to be added to our rankings once the fall season is concluded and I’m excited to continue to see what he accomplishes in the 2nd half of the season. Twitter
Homewood-Flossmoor produces highly talented young men year in and year out. Mr. Brooks is primed to be the next up-and-coming D-Lineman to come through the Vikings program. The potential he has and the upside are impressive for how young of a player he is. What stands out the most about this young man is how he can either jolt the run blocker upright to disrupt plays in the backfield or work as a two gap defender. Both of which are impressive for such a young defensive player to have. Time will tell how dominant of an interior D-Lineman he will become over the course of his high school career, but as of right now the future is looking bright for this young man. Twitter
AJ Bravieri
AJ Bravieri
What stands out the most about Mr. Bravieri is his ability to stand strong in the pocket and get the ball off under pressure for the completions on deep shots downfield. More specifically, how he isn’t afraid to take a hit to follow through on his throws. Now, if the pocket does collapse this young man is able to escape working on the move to and keep the chains moving. He does so primarily through making throws on the run but also flashes the ability to pull the ball down to scramble for the first down. All in all, keep an eye on this Pro Style QB as he flashes his ability to go through progressions and accuracy on deep shots downfield. Twitter

Mr. Broege was on the watchlist as a D-Lineman coming into this fall season and he’s going to crack into the rankings as an O-Lineman once this season is concluded. What stands out the most about this young man is his strength to throw defenders around when run-blocking. You can see in the first few clips in his highlights below where he does so when down blocking and when getting to 2nd level blocks. He also finishes plays by keeping his feet driving through the whistle once he’s latched onto the defender. I’m very interested to see how his run blocking performs the rest of this fall season and where his pass protection ends up as well. Currently, he flashes his ability to anchor at the point of attack to keep the pocket clean in pass protection. Keep an eye on the impact he can bring in both blocking schemes for the rest of this fall season. Twitter
Mr. Harris is the type of receiver every quarterback wants to have. Not only is he your prototypical outside receiver, he can also line up in the slot creating mismatches against outside linebackers. Not only can he secure contested catches on deep shots downfield, but he can also make the catch in traffic, and adjust last second to secure deep shots downfield. What stands out the most about this young man is his foot quicks off the line of scrimmage as he can win over the top and be a threat underneath. Look for this young man to continue to cause defensive coordinator headaches the rest of this season and I expect more offers to come his way. Twitter
Eduardo Antunez
Eduardo Antunez
I said this in a previous article and I’m going to say it again. What I love most about Prep Redzone is being able to come across new young men that previously weren’t on my radar and we’re back with another new name. This time it’s Mr. Antunez that’s going to see himself crack into our rankings, turn on his film below and you’ll see why. This young man can work either as a standup edge or a hand in the ground 7 tech. Both of which, he can make his impact felt. His quick first step out of his stance is impressive as he can beat the offensive tackle off the ball to disrupt plays in the backfield crashing off the edge. What’s equally as impressive is how he can stretch plays horizontally not allowing ball carriers to turn the corner before securing open field tackles on the perimeter. All in all, Mr. Antunez is putting himself into conversations as being a force off the edge that people need to catch onto. Currently holds no offer but I expect the interest to pick up significantly once this season is over. Twitter
I’m going to sound like a broken record here but Mr. Baltazar is another new name to me this fall season that is going to see himself crack into our 24′ rankings. This young man’s pass protection is stellar. Not only can he mirror the rushing defender to keep the pocket clean but he also flashes his ability to keep his head on a swivel picking up a delayed blitz. Switching gears to run blocking, he does a darn good job of square pulling being a lead blocker for his teammate. Here, he can pick up 2nd level blocks and create a lane for his teammate to hit. At times, he was able to jolt the defender upright before putting them into the dirt as well. Overall, this is another standout O-Lineman that the Ramblers continue to produce year in and year out.
