As we are approaching the middle of the road for the 2022 football season, there have been some athletes that have caught my attention by surprise. We will recognize the class of 2023 around the city. These young men have been balling out in their perspective positions. Hidden gems are players who are making an impact for the team in more ways than one, and deserve recognition for it as well! They have the size and skill set to make plays, while being a difference for their team. Without further notice, let's dive in and analyze some of the best hidden gems in the city of San Antonio, and see why they made the list!

Andres Villagran: 6'0 190Ibs/QB/ Converse Judson High School

Analysis: Andres Villagran is a quarterback that I would keep an eye on this year. This young man has a heck of an arm as well! He possesses great power when delivering the ball to open targets. Villagran has an extremely fast release, which makes it very difficult for defenders to lay a hand on him. Next, he does a superb job at staying poised in the pocket and making proper reads down the field. While he may not be the fastest, Andres Villagran possesses great strength for a prospect his size which is vital at the quarterback position. Despite Converse Judson starting 0-3 on the season, I still expect Andres Villagran to help his team make a turn around and lead his team to the play offs!

Jeremiah Dunn: 5'10 170Ibs/RB/ Converse Judson High School

Analysis: Jeremiah Dunn is another player to watch for in the class of 2023! Dunn is a versatile back that you can use in the passing game and the run game. He is very athletic and possesses very soft hands. Next, this young man runs with great balance and power allowing him to break tackles in between the gaps. Dunn also has very good vision when trying to find the open hole. Also, Jeremiah Dunn possesses good speed clocking a 4.5 40 yard dash, and a 4.5 shuttle time! Even though he may not stick out on the radar, he is definitely a running back that has the potential to do something big.

[player_tooltip player_id='136155' first='Brody' last='Bujnoch']: 6'3 225Ibs/QB,MLB/ Hutto High School

Analysis: [player_tooltip player_id='136155' first='Brody' last='Bujnoch'] is a quarterback with a very solid build. He can also move for a man his size, clocking in a 4.6 40 yard dash time! Bujnoch can play both sides of the ball very effectively. He has a very high motor, powerful arm, and shows that he has versatility in his game. This young prospect does an excellent job at finding open targets with great accuracy. On defense, he has great discipline and does a good job on form tackling, wrapping up his opponents while being physical! Also, to my surprise, he can also be used as a weapon at the wide receiver position as well! Keep an eye on him going forward!

Alex Green: 6'0 185Ibs/WR/ Hutto High School

Analysis: Alex Green is a weapon at the wide receiver position that needs to be accounted for on every single play! He has a good build, and possesses good speed clocking in a 4.5 40 yard dash time and a 4.38 shuttle time. His long arms, and soft hands allows him to make tough catches inside and outside the numbers. He can also go up and get the ball at its highest point, and he also has a 34 inch vertical! Green does a good job being crispy in his routes, while getting off the press to get open and make a play. His quarterback can rely on him as a reliable target each play. Look for him in the future!

Conner Vincent: 6'2 160Ibs/QB/ Cibolo Steele High School

Analysis: Conner Vincent is a prospect that has the potential to have a great season this year. He is a very fast and quick quarterback, clocking a 4.4 40 yard dash time, and a 4.11 shuttle time. Vincent has a tall and lean build, and will only get stronger the more he hits he weight room. He possesses good arm strength and accuracy. He takes his time in the pocket to go through his progressions to find the open receiver. Next, Conner Vincent consistently throws accurate balls on the run in order to make plays for his team. Finally, he is extremely versatile because he can play the wide receiver position, safety position, as well as the quarterback position! Look for him going forward in the 2022 football season!
