Another great week of football is upon us. This week there are some games that will have you on the edge of your seat. It will be a lot of trash talking going on between fans this week. A lot of rivalry games are going down. I can't wait. Here are some games to look out for.

We will break these segments down into different games that we think will stand out this week. Louisville vs Starkville is an old time rivalry. Starkville has more wins in this head to head match up. Louisville is a top three school in the state when it comes to championships. These two teams are going to be going at it Friday night.

These two fan bases do not like each other. The taunting is already on. These two went at it a lot during 7v7 this summer and I'm sure they are ready to face each other. Somebody has to go home with their first L of the season. This is going to be a good one.

Starkville has the ball rolling this year. I have them ranked number 2 overall for the whole state. [player_tooltip player_id='273258' first='Trey' last='Petty'] is going to be him. We know what he brings to the table. [player_tooltip player_id='139597' first='Braylon' last='Burnside'] will be making plays on both sides of the football. That's what he does. [player_tooltip player_id='340821' first='Jaylon' last='York'] also opens up the field for Starkville on offense. Jay Turnipseed is another name to know.

Eric Thomas will be a force to deal with on defense. They are going to be ready to attack this young Louisville offensive line. That will be the question for Starkville. Can they rattle this young bunch and have them out of a zone. These guys have been keyed in all season.

Louisville is not going to lay down because Starkville is a big bad 6A program. They have some good things going down. Xavier Hunt is one of the best 2025 QBs the state has to offer an and he is showing that off. His receivers have been doing good also. Jaden Triplett and Jykevious Goss are definitely holding it down at receiver.

Louisville is playing good defense too. These guys are making it happen. [player_tooltip player_id='340743' first='Gabriel' last='Moore'] was off the chain last Friday and had 16 tackles. Four of those were behind the line of scrimmage. He also had 1.5 sacks. Him and his defensive line will be making noise this Friday.

Semaj Knowles and Kenneth Hill will be two guys who will get after it in the secondary. This is going to be a big test. The Starkville receiving bunch will be the best Louisville faces all season. Semaj is under the radar, but this game can help boost his recruiting stock.

[player_tooltip player_id='340862' first='Christavious' last='Savior'] and Laterrius Haynes are two guys you don't want catching interceptions. Savior already has two punt returns he took to the house. Laterrius has already took an interception back this year. These guys are some ballers.

This game won't be decided by more than 7 points. Last year the score was 28-23 with Starkville winning. The score should be very similar this year.
